Hope everyone had a nice weekend with plenty of crafting time :)
I've printed and put together arm fills of patterns, washed some remnants from the stash (only big enough to do sleeves), and started making another pair of shorts. The fabric mountain arrived this morning, so I just need to get all of that washed and wait for the jersey needles before I can crack on in earnest. It's a huge pile, and I am now wondering if I'll get it all made before he's too big for the pattern sizes I've printed and cut, but I'm feeling good about it. I also made another card, so 42/52 now. Some half made cards that will be done soon, but I've run out of fathers day peel offs, so bought a stamp so I don't need to keep buying peel offs (Last week was a bad lockdown week and a bad week for buying craft stuff  )

I've not really done any crafting for quite a while - though I have now started again on the waistcoat o' doom, just needs pressing and the armholes sewing up, the other one I'm nabbing for me as it can't be scaled up, just needs bust darts and taking in a bit.. When those are finished, it's a pair of jersey trousers - the fabric has been hanging around the dining room for months! Otherwise, I'm plodding on with my Art Deco Bugs Bunny - it looks gorgeous on the packet, but it's mostly shades of beige and of grey so it's quite hard work.

Also found (and downloaded) the Boho bag pattern from the V & A website, so hopefully that is where a lot of the scraps of material will go which are too small for anything else - also found a free knitting pattern for a headband on Ravelry, which I hope will use up some of my wool stash.  I will admit to a waistcoat sewing pattern (to replace the one that's now too small) and some fastenings and buckles but those are to complete the waistcoats.

Good to hear from you wraithlady!
I made my first jersey make today- not sure I like working with it at the minute. My tension randomly changed as I was finishing my top stitching so the little leggings doesn't look as nice as it could do. I might unpick it and try the twin needle I found in my sewing machine box, but I don't think the stitching is going anywhere, so I might leave this pair and do that on the next ones. Plenty of material to have a go with, and they don't take very long to cut out and see up. My Aldi rotary cutter has stayed far sharper than my fiskars one, annoyingly, so I will need to look for new blades for my fiskars one. I did see a sharpener, but it only works with a particular sort of blade, and not fiskars ones by the look of things 😞
I have finished another card this afternoon too, a good luck card for my placement student who is finishing soon. I'm now on 44/52

I’ve used up a few little bits. And nearly finished a notebook.

    Small wins I know.

    Total 51 / 400.

I need to crack on and get stuff done....

3 more cards made, taking my total to 47/52. I've also set a few more up, just didn't get chance to finish them off, so will have a good bundle to knock of the total either this afternoon or tomorrow.
I've also pieced together a pattern for some dungarees for me, just need to adjust the pattern by 3" because I'm short 😂 and then cut it out! They will be in some very fetching blue plaid, but it's quite heavy and potentially not ideal for summer 🤦‍♀️

OMG I'm so glad to have found this thread! I desperately need to stop my craft spending. My craft room is like the Room of Shame with stuff busting out of everywhere, and that's with having moved all  my yarn into the loft. So with the target that people have is it a running tally of no-craft-spending this year or how does it work ? Well anyway, I am IN! Looking forward to busting that stash!!

Hi Jill! Welcome aboard  :) I just set a target of the number of projects I want to complete before buying more stash (but shhhh...I may have accidentally bought fabric!)

Hope everyone has had a lovely Bank Holiday weekend. No significant crafting to report. I've started a knitted hat in a fingering weight and I had forgotten how long it takes to knit up! I've also cut the fabric to make a pinafore dress, and I don't work tomorrow so I'll be getting that sewn up. I've made 17 face masks (so far) which will be posted out to friends and family (well behind the curve on that one!). I'm not counting each of the 17 as a project, but I need to make 20 masks so that everyone who has asked for one gets one, so I'll count the batch of 20 as a single project. The good news is that each mask uses up a fat quarter so it really is helping with the stash bust. Emsi love the sound of the dungarees! Take care all and happy crafting! x

Hi Jill! My target is projects made. I'm not great at sticking to not buying anything, but I've found this thread keeps me honest, and I tend to think much, much, harder before I buy anything now. I have also managed to make a noticeable dent in my stash over the last few years!

    Hi Jimali,welcome.
I fortunately don't have a craft room, all my stash has to fit in a small cupboard under the stairs. If I had a room there would go madness! I allow myself to buy supplies only to finish a project.People know I craft and kindly donate their excesses and I don't like to see waste.
I have always made things from being a very little girl as has my Mum who taught me and is now still producing beautiful things at the age of 86. I always have a project on the go either craft or DIY.Presently I have half dismantled a perfectly good kitchen, got rid of a American style fridge and have bought under counter fridge and freezer and also bought a kitchen island which needs a good clean and some tlc.Oh I am also stripping a scandi style painted chair that I got off freecycle months ago.
I have made a blanket twice in the last week.Almost finished and noticed a mistake so undid it and started again.
My target is curiosity to how many items I actually make in a year.
    Current total 14
