Hi all! Haven't checked in for a while as I've done little to no crafting.Things with the house have been stressing me out and I've not been sleeping well, so I haven't trusted myself to make anything! I did make the PJ shorts out of some leftover grey jersey. They are super comfy but they are not very pretty haha!

Yesterday, the boyfriend helped me go through the fabric stash and match up fabrics to patterns - 10 in total! Today I made a pair of PJ bottoms/loungy trousers out of some lovely yellow and white fabric which I think I got from a charity shop for around £2 for 2m, so that's one down and 9 to go.

Hope everyone is well and keeping busy. The blanket sounds lovely Vulpix, and I bet the little girls next door were excited for the stickers!

It's always best to quit when you're ahead Chloe! I didn't, and ran out of bobbin thread whilst doing some top stitching 🤦‍♀️
I am very slowly getting through the dungarees. I'm taking it steady as there is a lot of top stitching, and I want it neat! I think I'm not quite half done, I've got some sewing through lots of layers coming up 😬

Hi all, I've been quiet on here for a while, but have been merrily beavering away in the background.  I've been making masks, bunting and pocket tissue holders for a group that is supplying local care homes, pharmacies, care workers etc.  Lost count of what I've made, but it's reduced some of my stash.  Unfortunately it's also added loads of donated fabrics too!

Hope everyone is staying safe and well.

I’m so impressed with everyone’s crafting endeavours.

So I’ve finished another notebook and have written four short pieces. I realise not exactly using up stash. But I’m counting it as creative things finished. I wrote them in the note book... 🤣🤣

I am desperate for some time off - I need to find an independent job to pick up the income though. I need to update my C.V. So that is the next thing to do. Then I want to make a dress. I’m desperate to get a few whipped up. But they just seem soooo much work. I know I shouldn’t complain but work is so much harder in the lockdown and I feel I’m getting nowhere. And have no time to craft.

I will get somewhere this weekend. I hope.

I agree with you nimbo, work does seem harder in lockdown.
I finished my dungarees today! 54/52 It's taken me a long, long time (it feels like it anyway). They were a challenge, and I definitely have areas to improve on, but they fit! And I will be making some more in future. I need to measure how much fabric I have left of this and see if I can squeeze out another pair. I might look into making some trousers if I don't have enough to do another pair of dungarees.
Next on the list is some cards, I have some part finished ones in a pile still.

A few of my makes this week: as of yesterday I've made 2 sets of 3m bunting, 7 of the little bags, and 18 pocket tissue pouches.

Can't really say I've used up my stash though, as it is all fabric donated to the local group I belong to!

    Chris they are lovely.
I have been making mask extenders for DD1's hospital and friends hospice. Not counting them as they make no impression on the stash.

ive used a storage box that I’d bought for a friend in my craft room.  (There’s been a falling out between people that is feeling like world war three and I’m stuck in the middle with no one talking to me because I haven’t taken sides - which is hard as I think they both acted like planks and should just be nice to each other ). But hey ho.

I’ve also written some more bits and have used some little things up.

Thanks emsi - I thought it was just me struggling to get stuff done. But last week I managed to get my three page to do list down to one page. I’m sure on Monday There will be another load to add to it - but I felt like I’d achieved something.

My next craft mission is to take up a skirt that’s a funny length. It’s not a big one. But hopefully achievable.

I think everyone is going a little mad from lockdown nimbo, I know I've felt my temper much more recently. Hopefully your friends will realise it's just their frustration at the world, not each other, and all will sort itself out again.
I've made a card, but I'm not really happy with it. It's a bit smaller than I imagined when I planned it, so I will keep having a play before I count it in my stats.
