    Morning all,

Glad you're all keeping busy - lovely to see your makes as always! I have a couple more to report. I made two baby bibs for my friend who recently had her first. They're both the same (a laminated fabric with puddle ducks on the front, and a pink cotton with white stars on the back) but one is slightly bigger than the other. I also finished all the face coverings/masks for family and friends and they're going in the post today. So that takes me to 15/20

I ordered a few haberdashery bits a week or so ago which I need for the projects I have lined up (some interfacing, a couple of invisible zips, specific colour threads) and hopefully that'll be arriving today or tomorrow, so I can get going on the next project!

    Wishing everyone a lovely week,
    C x

nimbo, grim times.Nothing ever stays the same, things will ease.emsi is right,I think everyone is a little lock down crazy.Even me n Mr V had a little fracas yesterday and we never fall out.We are all lucky that we have crafting to retreat to.
Chloe your makes sound great.I have lost my sewing mojo.In the great pompom maker hunt I unearthed several ufo's which would take an afternoon to finish if I got the machine out.
I have however released a bag for life full of silk roses to someone from a freecycle group, and listed a big box of wool on fb,no takers yet.I had to get sensible with myself about how much wool I had and how long I will live! I found more stickers for the little girls next door.Reduce, reuse recycle.
I finished a little blanket and have started knitting a baby cardigan.I also BOUGHT 3 balls of wool because I liked the dusty pink colour.I also made a seat cushion for a very old arm chair I had.Sawed a block of foam on the sittingroom carpet with the bread knife.I repurposed the seat cushion cover from an arm chair which went to the tip.Not crafting but reducing the amount of stuff shoved in my craft cupboard.
Today I will frame some postcards and hang the picture and possibly finish stripping an old chair of white paint, then knitting.I am a relatively new knitter and am slightly obsessed atm.

So a few weeks back I caved and bought a dress pattern. I’d been waiting for ages for it to be released in my size. I printed or for free at work. And have used two copies to make one today. (I did the first lot two sided).

I have used up three rolls of tape. It took me hours to assemble the pdf pattern. I hate pdf patterns.

I’ve used up a few other bits and am now on 65 / 400.

I am about to iron and then cut the first once I’ve double checked my size. I then have plans for another directly afterwards. 😁

magical, the machine cover is soooo cute. I dont know why but my photos are always huge too.
Big box of wool gone, also a bag of felt someone was asking for on fb.Feels good to rehome stuff to someone who will use it.
I have bought a foot stool from fb.I want to recover it.I will ask my Mother if she has any velvet.Let this be a warning to us all...she is 86 and has a large wardrobe stuffed with fabric! SABLE. stash aquisition beyond life expectancy.lol

I have finished a card, and one is half made (the card is done, but it had a recommendation of a matching envelope, which I will do before I count).
I have cut out another pair of leggings for my son, and a t shirt too. These were pdf patterns- not too bad putting together age 2 patterns, but my pdf of my dungarees was a beast!
Magical, you'll be pleased to know the picture isn't huge on mobile, it's just right :)

Hello all - hope everyone is well. Love the sewing machine cover Magical - it's gorgeous! Nimbo I'm totally with you on PDF patterns - I avoid them at all costs. Give me a massive unwieldy fragile tissue paper pattern any day of the week.

Well, I'm here to ask for your forgiveness guys - I bought a whole load of fabric yesterday! I am now frantically sewing in order to make room for it. I fear I'm going the way of your mum Vulpix (and am already SABLE in terms of yarn!).

Anywho, yesterday I made a natty little apron - used up some half yards of fabric which I've had on hand for ages. I needed to make bias tape for it, which I've never done before. It was much easier than I expected, and I think I'm going to go through my oddments and offcuts bin and see what I can turn into bias tape - what a great little stashbuster! Today's project is probably going to be a skirt, which I reckon I can get finished after work and before dinner.

Happy Wednesday to you and yours

Chloe I just don't know how you find the time to do all you do,how about some pics?
I also love a paper sewing pattern.Pdf knitting patterns are also pants.Pages and pages with an instruction on each page!
Little cardigan finished.More done on the chair but it will be a long job.Footstool recovery abandoned.

Hello - it's just me and the other half in the house, no littles or critters to take care of. I finish work at 4pm and with working from home I find that I've gained a good hour or so extra each evening. I'll be sad to go back to the office that's for sure!

Here are some pics for you - the skirt was tricky to photograph! The apron is on my dressmakers mannequin, over the top of a skirt which I might finish sometime before Christmas!
