I think I'm going to do 3 running totals - one of no-craft-spend days, one of number of cards made, one of number of other projects made. So far today I have written and am about 2 post, two cards that I made, so that's a teeny bit gone from the craft room!

Well done @jimali - glad to have you on board and getting stuck in. I made the pinafore dress yesterday - I used my overlocker and I think I set the seam allowances too big/cut off too much because it ended up just a little on the small size. It's a stretch fabric and a relaxed dress so still wearable, but slightly annoying! This evening I found myself with a spare hour so I whipped up a pair of undies with some stretch lace, so two more projects completed for me! I might see if I can get the fabric cut for a t-shirt before turning in for the night....

Woo, well done Jill and Chloe! I'm too scared to cut my dungarees out, a job for tomorrow I think.
I've made or finished off another 6 cards, so I am now over my target!! 53/52
I think next year I might do a running total of types of project, and maybe add targets for certain categories.

Congrats Emsi! I know what you mean about being scared to cut!
Well I didn't get a t-shirt cut out last night, I wanted to use a particular fabric and don't have enough of it. I can combine it with another fabric and make a baseball style top but didn't have the brain space to try and match colours last night, so I gave it up as a bad job. In other news, we've just had an update on the house move, and it's looking like we'll be in a position to move some time in July (fingers crossed, all being well, etc. etc.). So I really need to start making a proper serious effort to dent the stash, so I'm going to get that t-shirt made this evening and then spend as much time on the weekend as possible sewing!

Yesterday I sorted out a load of card toppers all ready to make into cards - then realised I needed 5x7 card blanks when I only had 5x5. So I bought some 5x7 ones. Annoying but I’ll be able to use tons of my card stash this way. Hoping to make a load tomorrow.

I allow myself purchases if it means I can use up stash. For instance, I've just today got some elastic in which means I can use use up more fabric (going to make PJ shorts!), so I'm okay with that. Cut out a t-shirt and made a paper pattern for the shorts today, but got distracted with house stuff so haven't actually done any sewing. Serious business tomorrow!

I've said before I'm pants at sticking to the letter of not buying anymore, but this is a good way of making sure I really want, really will use it, and really can afford it. Yesterday I bought some circle dies, some tape and got a free topper pack- I wouldn't have added the topper pack at all as I don't want it, but my mum will like it and it's her birthday in September. I spent all week looking at dies, and found the smallest pack that does exactly what I want, and then found them half price 👍 a third cheaper than the first pack I found!
I am hoping to get a little bit done today- I do need to venture out to do the food shopping this afternoon, and hubs is doing is fortnightly site check this morning, so might not be overly productive!

Shhhh, I went to poundlad yesterday for tomato food and 3 balls of dusky pink wool just fell in my basket.
I am still knitting away on the blanket for DD2.It is wool mix and knitting beautifully. It says it's ombre but it is just different colours.I am 3/4 of the way done.
    Hope you are all well.Vx
Edited to say I gave the little girls next door 3 packs of stickers and sticker gems I had aquired.result and passed a little time for them.
