I've cut out some fabric to make a teepee (an old king size and double duvet set) and then used some of the leftovers to cut out a pair of shorts for the young sir. They will be very funky shorts, but he may well need "rolling around" clothes before we're all out of lockdown, so I think they'll get used regardless!
I still need to do the sewing- lots of hemming for the teepee before I even think about putting it all together 😂 it should be big enough for kids and adults to sit in it when it's done, so hopefully future proofed!

    How is everyone?

I need an intervention V! Just found myself browsing for more fabric. Haven't made anything since whenever I last posted (feels weeks ago!) and yet I'm itching for new stuff. So - I'm committing to you internet peeps that I will make TWO garments this weekend. I'm thinking a skirt and then possible a pinafore dress version of the same (Bibi by T&TB). I have two episodes of Sewing Bee to watch to hopefully get the creative juices flowing.

Oh! Last night I painted a picture of a tree. Am certainly not a painter, but I'm quite happy with it. When I'm not supposed to be working (shh!) I'll grab a pic of it and post it here.

Hope everyone gets some nice crafting time in this weekend

Both fine here thank Vulpix.  Keeping myself busy making masks for local group who are supplying them to care homes, health centres, hospitals etc.  Also making mini bunting, mask adjusters, and some felt hearts.  I'll never get bored, I can alternate what I make each day.  Also working on my rainbow blanket in between.

Hope everyone is safe and well xcx

I've crocheted 3 flowers - only counting 1 as I have embroidered a centre and blanket stitched round the edge in a contrast colour. Not sure what I'm going to use them for, but they're interesting. Am suffering from 'too much choice' syndrome (mixed in with 'can't find stuff cos it got tidied') I think I will have to write the projects down and roll a dice or something.

Know what you mean, Chloe901, my FB is full of adverts for fabric and I've nearly succumbed several times - though a combination of enforced deferral and being put off by buying 5 metres of cheap fabric which turned out to be a/ pure polyester and b/ a completely different colour to the one shown (monitor differences, my eye, it's borderline misrepresentation)  has ensured I've stayed mostly strong - apart from the aforementioned rash purchase.

I've hemmed all of the tee pee pieces this morning, and have sewn a couple of the sides together. It's the biggest thing I've ever sewn, but very pleased with how neat they are (so far!). Lockdown is helping my sewing skills along 😂 hopefully it will all be done by tomorrow, if I get another hour or so tomorrow to do it.

I haven't been crafting for abit bit I've just finished a makeup pouch. It was my first go out English paper piecing. I'm not that happy with it but I'll put it down as an experiment 😂 12/35

How did you find it Magical? I like the idea of EPP but have never given it a go. It seems like it would be fiddly?

I actually found it quite relaxing. I used ladder stitch instead of the one that was suggested as found it easier. It was something i can do in bed. I'm doing another and going to make a Christmas stocking. Hopefully it will turn out better x
