Didn't do any sewing, knitted up one of my new balls of wool from Aldi and finished that off.

emsi_b said:I made 2 more cards with inserts, taking my total to 3/52 and I have started my knitting!!! I almost threw it across the room the first time, but after my mum showed mum how to cast on properly, and I watched a few videos to get different perspectives, I've got on a lot better. It will be very, very slow going though- I have finished the rib that makes up the hem of the sweater on the back piece in two evenings. I'm glad I decided to go for a 4-5 year jumper, he's only 18 months so I've got plenty of time!
I did have a slip up on Hunkydory members week. I put lots of things out of my basket, but I do have the members gift, some tag dies and BOGOF male card toppers coming. I've wanted a tag die so that I make my own tags and they look nice for a while (I couldn't get the proportions to look nice), and I'm short on male card ideas. I will either sell one of the BOGOF pads, or give it to my mum for mothers day (I'll have a subtle probe to see what she's got).
I was hoping to buy a piece of leather for an anniversary card, but my recycled craft place doesn't seem to have any in yet, so that idea might be knocked on the head! That and a Valentine's day card are next on my to do list. The Valentine's day card is planned, mostly cut out, just needs assembling. I have Wednesday off work (Wahoo!) So I will be busy having a me day
I think we can forgive you on the purchases as long as you promise to put them to good use and not leave them sitting in your craft room for 8 years like I would

Thank you for the photo information.I am a bit of a technical dummy so I think I will have to get one of my children to help me.I do have an iphone that I take pictures with but don't have mse on my phone so need to work out how to connect phone and laptop.
Next I will have a go at a 3 kings wall hanging.I admired a friends at craft club with no desire to make one myself. She turned up with all the pattern pieces photocopied in a plastic wallet for me.I don't usually use patterns for my sewing.I like to invent my own creations.I feel obliged to make it,so had to buy some fabric as I didn't have what I needed in my stash.I did though buy a dress from the charity shop for £2 which will be the back ground.I am all for recycling and saving money.

If its any consolation vulpix I too have enough thread in my stash to last me a lifetime and I don't even sew very often
Well done on finishing the quilt. I'm sure its perfectAnd well done on finding a dress in a charity shop for the background - I would never have thought of that
PS : that cushion is gorgeous and the embroidery itself is absolutely stunning. I wish I had your talent.

We have finally finished some projects! I had a pile of photographic cards that needed envelopes/bags and I have finally done it
Only took months! Also a mini woven basket-made from recycled plastic (basically just a way of learning a new skill) and a mini knitted cow! so that makes it 3/52

I'm finally declaring more makes again. This time I've made 10 things (although after all your wonderful time consuming and talented makes I do feel a bit of a fraud)
I've made:-
7 stickers sheets (but counting as 2 as only two designs)
A notebook - decorated the front cover using some of my paper scraps and die cuts plus used some alphabet stickers
25 printed bookmarks (used up a few sheets of cardstock and laminating sheets) but counting as 1 make as all the same design
20 postcards (all the same design again and only used cardstock so counting as one make)
10 gift vouchers (again only cardstock used so counting as one make)
1 x receipt book (used up a sheet of cardboard, 7 sheets of yellow paper I have had in my stash for ages, 7 sheets of white paper, a spiral binder and two sheets of carbon paper (again in my stash for ages)
1 x card using a really old Dawn Bibby kit I bought when I first started crafting so its at least 14 years old!
2 x bookmarks again using the Dawn Bibby Kit and I added a tassel to each of them using up a little bit more stash in the process
These take my total to 230/2020
I'm hoping the weather will be too wet to go anywhere tomorrow so I can get some more things made but at the same time its also the half term so need to find ways to amuse the kids as well
Stay safe everyone whilst Dennis is doing its worst xxx

I sorted my craft room last year, then DD2 sofa surfed in it last summer,so it was a no-go area, rehoused her, tidied it up before Christmas,I had the sewing machine out and made a few aprons and some repairing. DD2 came back as she wasn't well. Anyway she didn't need to stay long !
So it's sort of mine again. I'll have another tidy round and see how it goes.,but will probably lurk then put in a total of what's done.
I'll be taking part in a yarn-bombing,and selling jewellery on a craft stall later in the year, plus several fund raisers.
So interesting and inspiring reading about you all.
Thanks
MrsS
