  • Ilove it loopychriss - Ihave lots of felt and fabric scraps lying around along with buttons, beads etc so think I may well try and make one too. It wont be anywhere near as good as yours but at least I wil have tried :)
Yes, do give it a try craftingmad, they are very easy to do. I just cast on between 40 and 50 stitches, and knit until it's roughly the shape I want, folded in half.  If sewing, about the size of a standard tablemat.

Finished another one yesterday, and took them all to our meeting today.  There wasn't any more knitted ones to decorate, so I'm back to knitting them myself now for a couple of weeks.

At the meeting today the organiser had brought along loads of wool, ribbons, buttons and beads for us to have a rummage through and take what we wanted: I ended up bringing home a load more wool and buttons!  You can never have too many buttons!!

Will post progress as it's made.

Glad everyone is doing OK, managed to finish my dress, and starting some PJ bottoms tomorrow.  Am still working on my redwork heart and two quilts. I can't stick with one thing at a time, like to bit and bob here and there. Have also stamped some images for colouring but not got any further with them.  Do miss crocheting as used to love that, I'm another one who couldn't hold the hook correctly and looked more like I am knitting.  Didn't seem to make any difference to the finished item though:) . At least am making some inroads in my stash, not that it's noticeable yet.  Have used three reels of thread, also not obvious from the amount still in my box!!

    Now on 20/52
Oh wow pj bottoms clodagh. I've never attempted clothing before. I'm abit like you jumping between projects but I really want to finish some  :D

i finished a felt gingerbread man hanging. I was thinking of putting it on a card for someone to keep rather than an ordinary Christmas card. Yes I'm either really early or really late for Christmas. Oops x 6/35

Vulpix your quilt is beautiful! I will post a photo of the sensory mini quilt I have been working on when it is done. I just need to do the hand tying and then it is done! I haven't been up for much crafting recently, but I do have 1 more make to declare, taking me to 5/52. I made an anniversary card, using a little scrap of leather I found as it's our 3rd anniversary. Hubby was poorly, so it wasn't a very exciting celebration, but we are going away this weekend, so we will celebrate then instead.
Hopefully back on with crafting now- I've been sewing name labels in my son's bigger nursery clothes this evening and quite enjoyed that. I do want to finish his dungarees whilst he has a chance of fitting in them, so after I've finished the quilt, it's on with the dungarees some more. I was finding it very challenging, but I think I'll just need to give it a go and see how they end up rather than worrying about it too much!

Wow, love seeing all your beautiful makes. I decided to to some sewing on my machine. Haven't sewn in about a year. I made a fabric basket that mum got me as a kit, then made a purse, then i sewed another gingerbread man. Think thats 9/35

  • Lovely makes Vulpix, is the blanket crochet or knitted?  Loving the cushion too, good use of scraps which would only accumulate otherwise.

Nothing from me yet, I've been busy knitting and crocheting fiddle mats, but not decorated them yet so will count them when I do.
