I’ve managed to get uk to 22 things used up or made.I have been looking for a light shade for my bedroom for months and the only one I’d found was silly money and didn’t really go any way. So I’ve bought a super cheap one and used and fabric scrap to cover it. It matches the curtains and as it’s tartan I’ve used a kilt pin to decorate it. One of my fingers has red raw skin in it and it’s not the neatest job but it’s in place now. Yay.I’ve read through and everyone is being super busy.I’ve booked a sewing retreat weekend - I was going to book Prague - but with the self isolating thing figured this country may be an easier / safer bet until we know what’s happening. Other then the cost of the actual retreat - which is a mine break I will be taking projects out of my stash. I plan to make a dress that weekend. I’m not the best seamstress but I’ll be able to smash it - I hope. 🙄

Have been very quiet on here as I have been busy knitting/crocheting my fiddle mats. Finally finished decorating one today and also made my dad a laundry bag from a piece of fabric. Also made a pocket for his apron that didn't have one. So 3 more for me

Also want to thank Betharooni for the pack of buttons she sent me as a donation to the fiddle mats. xxKeep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Baked 2 cakes this weekend. Used up some stash, and only used equipment I already had in.

I’ve spent the last few days doing various knitting bits-have done 16 cannula sleeves for the Warm Baby project that need sewing up, and finishing touches on two little knitting kit things (fits a pair of snips and a sewing needle with the large eye to fit wool) which will use up wool, some bits of felt and a couple of buttons when all finished. Will put up pictures when these are all completed
Hoping to have a bit of a sewing day tomorrow-have got a lovely child’s dress pattern so am intending to make one each for my three nieces. Have got everything I need and ironed the first fabric so intending to cut out and sew the first one tomorrow. Still officially only on one but hopefully this should jump up in the next day or so...

Hi,those cakes look too nice to cut Kathrynha.
My MIL has bought me loads, well 6 craft books for my birthday.Ungrateful but they are going in the charity shop bag. There is one book with patterns which has little girls clothes. So cute but no little girls in my life sadly.Plus I think I could knock up an elasticated waist skirt for a toddler if needs must!
I am busy in RL at the moment but am plodding on with my hand sewing of two Easter cushions. I will ask my friend if she wants them for a coffee morning she is organising for the Air Ambulance.
Been to see my daughter today and forgot yet again to ask about the fiddle mats.Doh! Loopychris if you need buttons,I have masses I could post to you.
I am starting to see gaps in my stash.Need to do some more knitting next I think.to reduce the amount of wool I have.
take care.Vx:2
