Sorry not been about or checked in, been busy with trying to keep mum safe and with food and so on, typically her fridge decided to stop working in the midst of it all. Have finished my PJ bottoms, but nothing else, have done some bits but all still ongoing. Well done on seeing some gaps in your stash Vulpix, wish I could say the same:# . My sister raised money for the scouts so hoping to make some things she can raffle or sell to try and use more stash more quickly.

Hi everyone, I'm so sorry for my absence again. I'm pretty bad at this it appears!
I had to take some time out as we have just found out my mum has lung cancer and the news hit us all hard (especially my two kids) so we have ben spending all our free time together so had little time for crafting.
Its wonderful seeing how much progress you have all made whilst I've been gone and I'm in love with the makes I have seen photos off. I really must try and upload some pictures of my own creations but am afraid you lot will put me to shame.
I also have to admit that I have spent some more money of craft supplies which I really don't need and hopefully will send lots back when they eventually arrive but when I'm feeling down it seems to be the first thing I do -log online and buy pretty things to make things with (or in my case add to the piles of supplies I already have
However now I am starting to get my head around mums diagnosis I am trying to see the positive in it and am thinking of all the things I can make for her using my stash. I have already put some of my felt mountain to work and made some felt flowers for her although I think I did lose all my fingerprints in the process as I burnt myself so many times with the glue gun I lost count! But mum loved her flowers so that's all what matters.
I'll count up what I have made in the time I have been gone and report back to you all soon.
Keep up the good work so I am shamed into no more crating spending spreesMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.022 -
So so sorry to hear about your mum craftingmad, it's so worrying when someone you love gets that diagnosis. Can they treat her, it's amazing what medical science can do. Thinking of you all, much love, Chris xxxKeep Calm and Carry On Kondoing
