emsi, good on you.I am a novice knitter and still have to get my Mum to help me with the neck! I am getting better though.
Day one done.Moved all the bedroom furniture about.have decided I have one too many chests of drawers. It will just have to stay on the landing for a couple of months.
I have started to sand a small oak set of drawers, the varnish was sort of perished.Done a few rows of knitting.

I've been crocheting a blanket, but have used up all the wool I had for it, and can't get to Poundland to see if there's any more yet. Why did I only buy 3 balls of wool for it???
I did however made a prototype face mask yesterday, so will be making a few more today and tomorrow.
Stay safe everyone. Chris xxx

Wraithlady said:Hi, not really done a lot of crafting as have been running around like a loony trying to get things sorted for working from home. Let's just say it's been stressful. Still haven't sorted OH's waistcoats but I have finished the back of the rather complicated cable jumper (only taken 3 years so far!) and started on the front - must confess to buying a further 3 balls of wool for it but I'm not counting it as stash as I have a purpose for it. I have promised some material to a work colleague - bought it for a 1920's event to make a skirt out of it and never did, and it doesn't really suit me so I'm giving it to a good home.
I did crochet a coaster out of spare wool - we have nice new bedside cabinets and I realised I don't have a coaster for it. It's ....ermm ... colourful. Still counts, right? Also stencilled the wardrobe doors for our newly refurbished bedroom
That's 4/25
The wool definitely does not count as you know exactly what you are going to use it for and needed it to finish off a project
Well done as well on finding a new home for your fabric and your coaster

The ones causing me big problems are my mum and FIL, 88 and 90 respectively, who don't see why they should stay in in they don't want too!! It's like herding chickens, and no matter how many times I repeat the risks to them, to others and to the NHS, it seems to glide over them, it's like banging my head on a wall until it bleeds. So, not much crafting this week, but hope will have some time in the weeks to come if can get in the mood, and loose some of this anxiety.
Sorry for the moan, but thanks for 'listening' just felt had to let it out somewhere. Look after yourselves one and all x
I totally get you on the parents front - I have had so many arguments with my mum and dad that they really shouldn't be going out (especially mum with the cancer diagnosis) but the only thing she is happy to not go outside for is her treatment!
I think I have finally got them to see sense and only go to the hospital for appointments and back and a lovely neighbour is getting their food shopping for them now as I live 60 miles away
If you ever want a chat just moan away - we are all here xxx

I am continuing with the knitting- it's very relaxing actually, I wish I'd given it another go earlier! This is the progress so far- the beige and grey will alternate for a good while yet! 😂

How's everyone doing?
One silver lining coming from this lockdown is that I have not spent anything on craft supplies for nearly two weeks now and I seem to busting through what I have (although I have so much it is not making a visable dent at all but I shall keep trying!).
I've actually had a few orders come in too so they have kept me busy and are helping towards my total.
I actually started making cards for my neighbours daughter's nursing home which she manages today. They have 20 residents and 30 staff so hoping to make the residents cards and the care workers I am hoping to make a quilled angel each although I have never quilled before so it could be a challenge but I'm going to give it a go and see!)
Quilling is on my list of crafts to try whilst on lockdown so may as well start with a project in mind
I'm declaring 51 makes made up as follows:-
2 x bag of happiness for orders
2 x felt flower keyrings made for my next door neighbours to cheer them up during lock down
1 x felt flower brooch - to send to my mum to cheer her up a bit
5 x flowers (I decided I would make a flower every day whilst we are in lock down)
22 x mini seed packs for orders
1 x rainbow rock (used glitter and varnish so it can go outside in my garden for the children to spot)
2 x happiness journals for orders
2 x pocket mirrors for orders
2 x wish bracelets for orders
2 x prints for orders
10 x cards for the nursing home(10more still to make so hopefully will declare those tomorrow)
So my total now stands at 622/2020
Happy crafting everyone
Stay safe x

With everything going on I appear to have lost track of all your totals. Can you please let me know what your total currently stands at and I shall amend the first page accordingly and then hopefully get back on track
Thanks x

Hi again!
I lost you all for ages and just found you again this morning. I am now up to 11/100. Items done since last time are:
2 x smiggle pompom keyrings
1 x origami bookmark
3 x squares knitted for woolly hugs
3 x pages for sketchbook project. I can't draw, but they accept any standard of artwork no matter how good (or bad in my case!)
