Yes the cushion is hand sewn,it was a scandi inspired peacock lol.
Am impressed with the twiddle mats.I will ask my daughter if she has any need for them,she works with dementia patients.
Sooo instead of starting three kings I got some underlay and some leopard print fleece I was given and will make some cushions for the cat carriers!

Thank you for saying you're impressed: I'd never heard of them before I met the lady who organises our group.  They are so easy to make, and anything goes, that's what I like about them. Plus I have so many bits and pieces I can sew on to them, and use up about 10 at a time.

Do have a go if they'd be useful to your daughter's patients xxxx

Made the cushions for the cat carriers.Tried to push the smaller cat in,realised the cat carriers are far too small !
 I will count the cushions even though they only took about half an hour.I will be interested to see how much I actually make in a year.
Just can't bring myself to start 3 kings.Started a baby blanket with some chenille type wool from Aldi ages ago.
Off to craft club this morning.

We have finally finished some projects! I had a pile of photographic cards that needed envelopes/bags and I have finally done it  Only took months!  Also a mini woven basket-made from recycled plastic (basically just a way of learning a new skill) and a mini knitted cow! so that makes it 3/52

Took all my finished fiddle mats to a meeting this morning and handed them over to the organiser.  She in return gave me another 10 knitted ones to decorate: done two already this afternoon and evening, so declaring another 2 on my total.

Love the fiddle mats, could have done with one of those when DS was young as he could never keep his hands still.
Made DS's birthday card this week, and stamped some images to colour, so used about 10 sheets card and a blank, also some fabric as DS card was foundation paper pieced.  Only counting the card for now and if the images make it to cards will count them then.  Have carried on working on quilt and dress.  Did have to buy new heat gun as old one had an accident and the cable was damaged.  Don't feel too bad about it as was a replacement, and also not a consumable;)

Well done loopy.
My craft group make twiddle muffs!  Double layer of knitting rolled round into a tube and decorated with things to twiddle inside!

Yes, I've seen them, but they wouldn't be suitable as the people these go to are awaiting operations in the operating theatre and their cannulas might catch on a twiddle muff.
