Today I am grateful for coinciding buses making a speedy journey, for lovely colleagues, for helpful pupils, for the programmes about Alaskan people, for dh picking me up from work, for a cheerful dd, for a chat with big sis, for a friend giving dd his 3/4 size guitar.

NSD yesterday taking me to 15/16 :D. Spent today and know I will spend tomorrow so 15 is my final total for the month. Today I'm grateful for getting finished training early, finding lots of ys bakery bargains and an understanding OH.

  • Evening!

Well Apple - ended up just buying in some bits for visiting family but didn't get time to get haircut so that will be a separate spend day haha! Was worth a try ;)

    Today I am grateful for:

    1) Time spent with my brother and his wife. 3 hours went by in a flash!!
    2) For all the people along my fitness journey over the years... especially Rob, Craig and Harry. Miss all the guys from my old gym.
    3) The books and their authors, and all of the resources available to me online, and the people who wrote them too.

Am planning a fitness re-boot tomorrow <again> haha. Going to look over my routines, and dust them off. Take some fat photos as a record of where I am at now, along with measurements... and then really try and dig deep and find out what motivates me to exercise... and hold on to that.

Oh - before I go... F0xh0les - thank you for my multi-coloured signature on next month's challenge! It was very pretty and must have been a right old pain to do haha!!! The effort did not go unnoticed!!!

    Nighty night x

ON 15/16 NSD now. Today should be an NSD too, cutting it fine, but making it in under the line.

Hi MedioumDino - I have heard of the couch to 5K which is an NHS running programme to get people who have never run to being able to run 5K. I'm thinking couch to 50m might be something similar - perhaps for people with low mobility? It might be getting a person who is relatively inactive to slowly build up their exercise capacity over time, to be able to walk 50m?

We had gale force winds from teatime yesterday till late at night, some silly fool over the road had put their recycling bin out, I heard a bang and it had blown into the road. I went out in the dark and tried to get all the rubbish back in whilst dodging traffic. I took the bin back up the little street it came from but don't actually know who it belongs to. Some people don't have the brains they were born with. Been out this morning with a bag and my litter picker and cleaned up the rest.

Lots of washing to do today, floors to clean, dog to de-energise if that is even possible, last bits of cleaning for the weekend, drop a book back at the library, buy fruit and veg and if I have time call at B&Q to look at furniture paint.

Thanks for running January apple - fab as ever :A.

I think 50m to couch is best attempted while holding a mug of something hot and 2 pieces of buttered toast/ 3 hobnobs. Obviously you should work it into your daily routine and suddenly it becomes easy peasy! You should seek medical advice before attempting any new training regime. :rotfl:
We are now the Plague House. I have 3 off today will various, coughs, sneezes, chills and headaches. Still had to do the school run as DS1 is perfectly fine.
So today I have disinfected all the light switches, door handles, bathroom taps, and hand rails and banisters. My house smells of Z0fl0ra fresh linen.

Stewpot about to go on, so t hey will all be ready to go back to school on Monday.
So I am tied to the flippin' house, with pay in the bank, and limited food in. I do not online shop. I will inventorize the pantry and freezer, and make a plan for the coming week and pump them full of vitamin Veg to go back into the bacterial miasma that is the education system. - DH is on the lemon flavoured paracetamol based drinks too now. I should buy shares in the company.

DS4 is terrified he has the Corona virus. There were tears last night.

    I need more coffee.

Well last day of January and another spendy day. I am going out tonight so long since been out, will my clothes fit eek. The guy who wants to date me is coming along but not going alone, had already arranged to go with lad and girl I know. Should be fun night. Can't decide whether to drive or not drive. Got grandkids in the morning so dont need a hangover. Planned a long walk but daughter wants to do something else. Doh. She is trying to persuade me to take on a puppy

Foxholes aww poor you hate being confined to barracks and DS4 tell him not to worry and give him extra hugs.

    Grateful for
