haha saw your top pic then the bottom one and thought wow coxy did loads last night, till I realised it was the completed photo for comparison. I'm sure i'm going more loopy each day. Brilliant start on PLSF :)

Haha nmm - not that speedy unfortunately. It’s refreshing to be using Aida again albeit this is 16ct so quite tight. I do prefer the look of evenweave but for these modern designs I think Aida is more suitable.

Don’t worry nmm I thought Coxy must have been inspired by the hulk when I saw both pictures! It looks as if it would make sense to start stitching in the middle on that design. It’s really funky. I like the tram going up the hill.
I’m not experienced enough to know the difference between stitching on Aida and Evenweave. I’m hoping I can rescue the sampler. I’ll let you know.
I feel so much better today. After a later breakfast of ham and eggs I felt inspired to go and dig at the allotment!

    Hi everyone,
Hope you’ve had a productive week? I worked Mon to Thur but took Fri as annual leave with DH. Didn’t do a lot but did go to get paint samples for hallway. I’ve made some more progress on PL San Fran:

The colours are lovely and vibrant and I’m enjoying stitching it.
How are your projects coming along?

Looking good coxy, I think I did an hour of The Junction this week although I could be wrong, the days are just blending together :D  Been keeping busy with walking dogs and talking to friends, the garden has had some nice rainfall now the sun is shining again, I hope it warms up for a little while now. Take care all <3

Looking good Coxy. I love the feel of it. Here’s progress on sampler, I’ve unpicked the second butterfly to the left of the date (now completed). It was in the wrong place and as that’s in the centre of the design it’s got to be symmetrical to the other one. The centre rectangle is all wrong but if I’m careful and with DH’s help with the graphing of name and weight, I’m hoping the eye won’t notice.
Meanwhile I’m doing the ‘easy’ parts like the letters until I feel brave!

Whilst I was taking photos I took one of Harbour Lights. This is all framed and waiting to be hung, still wrapped in plastic.
I loved the design and the colours. They are all based on prints by the artist Janet Bell.

Lovely updates Charly27. I can’t see how the rectangle is wrong so can’t be that bad! Love Harbour Lights, it’s so colourful  :)
I did some more crochet last night. Now 27/100 colour rows (each colour is actually 2 rows so really 54/200!). Can manage to crochet whilst watching TV which is helpful!
So hot here in Kent today. Hope you all have sunshine too  :)

Scorching here in Cumbria, I completed another row of my blanket too, onto the last ball of 1 colour so the end is in sight, maybe another 6 or so rows then the border.

Charly27, I agree with Coxy I can't see anything wrong, looks lovely. Harbour lights is brill, get it hung up (says me with my framed wolf still in the cupboard) :D
