Hello lovelies, how are you all?
Haven’t posted in ages so quick update from me. Dune crocheted blanket now 25/100 rows done. I’m loving it and more importantly DD loves it. It’s to go with her to uni in the Autumn. She’s heard that Reading uni will be operating as normal ie. not virtual seminars, although students will probably have to live and study in subject ‘bubbles’.I did lots of cross stitch at the weekend and have finished the snow under the Christmas Pots. Just need to do a small amount on the last ‘S’ pot and the confetti snowflake stitches. Hope to have it done by the weekend fingers crossed!
Love the card nmm- really lovely finish.Write back with news and updates!!

Hi coxy, pleased your DD love the dune blanket they are really lovely. Lucy is working on a granny square Aria blanket atm. I complete my jumper this week, everyone who's seen it loves it and my OH said it looked shop bought
Hoping to do more of my blanket and some of The Junction this week.
Everyone is healthy here and enjoying all this wonderful sunshine, take care.

Photos of the jumper please nmm. Good timing as the weather has turned! I’m in a cardi today!!
Latest progress on Christmas Pots. Close up is the confetti stitches which I’ve been marking with pins and individually sewing. I want to follow the pattern rather than randomly stitching. Probably a bit OCD!Will do some more later - it’s slow progress! Sewing Bee later too, so very apt

ok here goes the photos, my jumper I completed, the dahlia blanket at 45 rows its the width of the double bed without a border (photo taken lengthways as it wouldn't fit in shot
) and some butterflies I did for a friend.

Wow nmm the jumper is fab - what stitch is that? Looks amazing. Love the blanket too, so colourful. Cute butterflies too x
I have news.......I finished the confetti snowflake stitches last night. I sat and watched The One Show, Corrie, The Repair Shop and Sewing Bee whilst sewing. I feel elated it’s finished as wasn’t looking forward to all that counting especially on evenweave. I’m sure my eyesight has got worse during lockdown lol. Will post a photo shortly. Now planning to start PL San Francisco seeing as I have enough threads to stitch it twiceCross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 17/25 Currently reading The Ghost Fields by Elly Griffiths2 -
Thanks coxy, its called the lemon peel stitch which is just alternate US sc & dc, super easy here's the pattern if you want to give it a shot https://hearthookhome.com/easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy-pullover-crochet-pattern/
Brilliant news that you've finished the Christmas Pots, are the same colours used in any other of the PL series?

Thanks for the details nmm. Might give it a go sometime once some other projects are finished.Photo of finished Christmas Pots:Will have to wait until framers are back open - it’s a small company within a craft centre/tearoom. Not sure when it’ll be open again but hopefully in time to display for Christmas
I’ve started PL San Francisco. Have started in the centre with the Golden Gate Bridge.Coxy xxCross-stitch WIP: Haberdashery Shop Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 17/25 Currently reading The Ghost Fields by Elly Griffiths3 -

Wow 🤩 what great progress you’ve both made. I’ve been locked out of my account for a couple of days and as it was the weekend I decided to actually do something about it so I could comment.
The Christmas Pots is gorgeous Coxy. You’re very talented and to start your new project in the middle. I wish I hadn’t done that with mine - I’ve really messed up big time.
nmm very taken with both the blanket and the jumper. Those butterflies are so cute too.Very talented with the needles.I started the Fast 800 on Wednesday and despite drinking litres and having more salt than I would usually have, I feel really low. Bad ‘keto’ or ‘carb’ flu. Hi Charly27 good to see you! Sorry you've had to wrangle with the website. I had such a lot of bother when they changed it over a few months ago - drove me bonkers.
Oooh fasting - I've never done it as too much into my carbs. Hope it improves for you - I too have heard the first two weeks are really tough - good luck x
Will post pic of San Francisco in a bit. Did a bit more last night whilst (half) watching a Hulk movie? Not really my bag but DH seemed invested!
