  • I'm doing it in proper order as per the spirit of the challenge into a separate pot on my Starling account. I'm also doing £5 a week into another pot.

Whether in reverse or not, my expenditure doesn't really increase due to the time of year so putting the larger amounts away at the end of the year shouldn't really matter. Unless I'm out of a job. :p
  • NUMBER 8 checking in £9.97 saved so far. I am 4 days behind but this really keeps me thinking about pennies adding up and I'll catch up by next weekend as that's my finance day. Well done everyone.

    Evening all,

Have been plugging away saving the highest amounts in reverse order and am up to a lovely £46.80. I am using the fruits of last year's labour to pay for a holiday this year and think I will do the same with this year's money next year (all being well and not needing it for anything else). It's such a great challenge.

Keep up the good saving! :D xxx

Welcome sammy85, Quality20, Muppet81, wllcnur, StripeyTightsSpottySocks and ToPostAnon!

I didn't have much change so put in a £20 plus change (I worked out the right amount for a few days) and so I'm covered up until Friday. I think the rest of the month (only till next Friday for me) will be low end payments in as eking things out until payday.
