  • Hope everyone is getting on ok!

I feel bad for doing a monthly transfer (as I know the goal is to tick off a little bit every day) but its what works well for me - transfer on payday and forget about it!

going well although not sure of totals. Don’t want to look in the pot because I will want to spend it but spreadsheet looks good. Happy with progress.

#10 reporting in now we have FINALLY reached the end of January! Have managed to keep going with the larger amounts running backwards and very happy to have a total of £108.81! So excited to see the fund growing every day and thinking about the holiday it will hopefully help pay for!

Well done team, keep up the good work! :D xxx

Don’t worry, I also do mine on the 1st of the month as only get paid monthly. I’m a cash person to keep me within my budgets so withdraw what cash I need and once it’s in the tin it can’t be spent.

  • I’m also running this backwards CazzieLT and the top amounts are really tough. But I’ve managed December, January and February payments into my tin. Thankfully i’ve got money coming back from my dental plan insurance next week so that will have to keep me till the end of February. Thankfully February is a short month :T

  • I'm not entirely sure how I'm going to run it yet. I get paid weekly for supply work, 17.5 hours per week and the account yoyos about. It's just plummeted downwards as all the start of the month bills go out so I won't be able to move anything 'til next week.

It's just struck me as being an exciting, luxurious choice - to move a weeks worth or a month? I'm lucky to have the choice :j

    Happy squirrelling everyone.
