I clicked on the link in the checker, immediately received an email about the voucher and followed the link to buy BB but couldn't get the purchase to complete on the Vodafone website. Kept getting an error message which sounded temporary so I kept trying but couldnt get it to work.0

Must say I hadn't thought this could be a cookie/history issue as I'm not sure I've actually visited the Vodafone website and also I deleted cookies and history earlier in the weekend for some online shopping. My first thought was that the Vodafone website was undergoing maintenance. However I saw someone complain about similar issues with this offer on Facebook suggesting that this was some sort of ploy not to fulfill the offer. Vodafone responded saying they don't run the offer directly so go back to the 3rd party (which in my case would be the MSE checker).0 -

PS It looks like this offer has now been extended to 1/11 on both the MSE checker and Broadbandchoices' own website.0

I thought I had succeeded with this yesterday. I clicked on the link from MSE, I added my email address and continued and was taken to the Vodaphone broadband page where I completed my order. I was really chuffed.
Then today I found an email from Decision Tech "An update on your gift" in my junk mail and it said I had to click on the link in that email to complete my order.!!
Vodaphene Chat are insisting this was an order placed with a third party and therefore they have no responsibility for it. Absolute rubbish as I placed the order on their site and have their confirming emails.
Apparently this is a third party offer from a company marketing on behalf of Vodaphone - so somehow this isn't Vodaphone's responsibility.
I'm just off to cancel my order.0 -
Just make sure that you cancel it with Vodafone not Vodaphone or Vodaphene!0

OK so I've just phoned Vodafone to cancel my order and Thomas (in the Broadband Retention Team!) has offered me £50 off my bill not to cancel. I haven't got the strength or the time to go through all this again so I've accepted his offer. He's given me a reference number for his notes on our call so if my £50 doesn't get deducted I will be able to contact them about it. I must be getting soft in my old age but I said OK.:(0

Yes - thank you Mr G - I've just realised I've been spelling it wrong all morning! Thank you. Another symptom of old age0

Interestingly I've just received the email transcript of my online chat and several of the things I said have been printed as xxxxxxxxx. Not very satisfactory. It's not as if I was swearing at him.0
