Hi all
Have been doing lunch at home, first day back proper in the office today and managed a parsnip and leek soup homemade from veggies that had definitely seen better days, but still was very tasty!!January Grocery Challenge £71.51/£150.00 48% spent!

Some leftovers for lunch today - sausage and bean pasta, along with a yogurt and an orange. Although when it got to lunchtime I wasn't feeling it so ended up having a sachet of miso soup that was in the bottom of my lunchbag instead of the pasta. Didn't succumb to buying anything though!

Hi all, a bit late but could I join?
I have 17 shifts left in January, so would like to go for 17. Have been doing a lunchbox the last week, very challenging when the rest of the team prefer the cafe so a bit of support here would be great :j

Had a really busy, long day yesterday so didn't get shopping done or make lunch for. Ended up buying a packet of sausage rolls en route but at least there's leftovers for tomorrowSPC #459 no 8 2015 £203 2016 £157 2017 £70

I'm going to take lunch to work every day in January.
So far 2/1 I took a wrap filled with spinach topped with a mushroom omelette that I eat cold, with some fruit cake.
3/1 I took some a slice of nut roast (home made) ate it cold with some celery sticks.
6/1 I took a muffin with spinach, fried egg and a cheese slice. I ate this cold but the egg had wilted the spinach and melted the cheese so it tasted nice. I also had a banana.
Tomorrow i have some brie in a sandwich with mango chutney and some grapes.
I look back to when i used to work three days per week in the town centre. Every lunch time I would buy a boots meal deal. I convinced myself that as I got points and every so often got a free meal deal as I exchanged the points that I was doing well.
I cant believe how much money I actually wasted.0
