We've received an invite today for mt eldest step-son's 40th Birthday party. It'll be at his mum's and it's titled A Time Traveller's Adventure - dress as you wish but preferably zombie based. I've seen a very cheap Mrs. Santa outfit in my size, so I think I'll zombie that up. DH is going as Shakespeare - he turned up in a Dr. Who once - and we already have an outfit from when he went as nearly headless Nick from Harry Potter.
De-cluttered more non vegan food either to others or in the case of an ice cube tray full of funny looking lumps the recycle bin. We have 2 mares and a foal - none related to any other - in one of the fields, they belong to someone who rescues English cobs. One of the mares is his girlfriend's and arrived wearing a nice coat - which she de-cluttered into the field - clever girl.

I've moved a whole lot of stuff into the garage to avoid chaos/damage in the wind tonight, and realised that I've been away for the last couple of recycling collections so really do need to remember to put all the cardboard out with the bin this week!
6 buckets of weed from the river into the compost heaps - I need to clear as much as possible by the end of Feb, as water voles start getting active in March (mind you, given the weather, they probably are already) and I'm not allowed to disturb them after that.14 -

Two tops and two books planned to land in the next charity shop bag i start (seem to be lacking large bags). OH is building a new shoe shelf unit in the hall cupboard and will have less shelves, but it will have a shelf tall enough for my boots, so the shoes will get it as soon as it’s done, think it’s time to be ruthless with the shoes I can’t really wear ... 😫

Not much else to report, I'm on day 6 of a 10 day work pattern. (shrugs) Not so bad as it sounds, there's only 4 full days in there.

I havn't a clue what I'm doing with this new site , so sorry to all posters that I didn't thank as I was getting panicky as I tried to catch the latest post and instead had to go round all the pages.
Well, two of my four February bags are done.
Bag 1 a bag of cork corks for recycling. Now half a kitchen drawer space available.
Bag 2 a bag of rags for recycling. One old sheet I am going to cut up into one-off kitchen towels and then put them in the compost bin as they are 100% cotton.
Please - is there somewhere to find out how to get to the latest post -I kept getting poster profiles.
I struggle on.....

Struggling with new format - I liked being able to read a group of posts and then I'd follow how people are doing which was motivating - feels more disjointed!Anyway DD1 has moved into a shared house and I was looking forward to all her things going but she's taken minimal amount saying doesn't have time to pack and coming home to stay tomorrow night. However, I did manage to palm her off with a few things167-174 mugs, jug , 2 pillows, blanket, basket, some food (and her own toiletries etc)175-176 food that DD1 decided didn't like (and DD2 and I don't ) so binned177 broken garden pot178 garden rubbish179 packaging left by DD1180 other rubbish181 pen lid182 tobacco and cigarette rubbish from DD1 (yuk)183 receiptsWon't do big declutter until DD1 takes more things but find I clear after girls (22 and 15) and don't do my paperclutter but did some184-185 paper declutter186 ( few hundred emails deleted)Also not sure why double spaced.I caught abit of hoarders - buried alive and looked round my house - not in the same league but not good - need to motor onNicnac so impressed with your numbers !14
