Have left 2 bags of clothes (27 items) for CS trip tomorrow. Will add to total when they have been delivered.
Early morning trip to CS - this CS is quite a way away & I don't have a car, so had to take it using my old hardly used shopping trolley. My reward came from finding a much loved hat I thought I'd lost in a pocket in my shopping trolley !

Good work all and well done for catching up Mrs SD - said you would, didn't we!
I finished a book last night - it had already been read by Mum so > charity bag.
Also tackled a cupboard -
2 x bags of videos > Binned. The charity shops won't take them any more, sadly.
Several old candles in jars binned - they had been being saved to melt down but they're quite strongly fragranced and MrEH loathes smelly candles so they are gone. The jars weren't worth saving as the candles didn't burn well in them either.
4 x shot glasses > dishwasher and will then > CS bag
1 old mug > binned (design was coming off through repeated dishwasher use)
a very old bottle of blended whisky in a "golf ball" china bottle - pretty sure MrEH has had this for the entire 20+ years we've been together and has never drunk any more of it as he doesn't like blends. > Emptied and the bottle binned.
I have set aside a really pretty lined grey wicker basket for the CS but that might yet come back into use in my newly tidied cupboard - I need to see whether it will fit and I can find a use for it.
I now have a full CS bag so need to remind MrEH to take that out with him when he goes on Saturday morning.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks for letting me join!
I've made a little list of things to declutter this weekend:
1-2: two bras
3: a pair of cigarette trousers which do not make me look like Audrey Hepburn as I has hoped
4: one coat
5-6: Two grey dresses which make me look like a Victorian Governess. I'm hoping to sell these as they're a popular brand (maybe as some sort of Jane Eyre cosplay?)
Just wondering how you guys deal with decluttering gifts? I've got a few things that just aren't for me anymore or that I've never used but because they have been gifts from friends of family I feel really bad getting rid of them!12 -
This new forum is ugly beyond belief - exceedingly badly designed & cannot seem to get rid of the ‘stuff’ on the right hand side.

Also noticed that all my email preferences had changes so I’ve been bombarded with emails all morning! Not a good start!

I am being bombarded with emails from the thread - it is a complete dog’s dinner grrrrr & where are my previous ‘thanks’ grrrrr
Anyhow on with the show. Thursday’s antics were as follows:-
DH planted out the primroses under my supervisionI delivered 2 bags to new CS then bought the remaining birthday cards for 2020 & lastly a trip to the sm.
Dinner was veal escalopes which I breadcrumbed with boiled potatoes & green beans for DSis but spaghetti in sauce + salad for DH & I - delicious 😋
