Ooh Thankyou for the gold stars Mrs SD am sharing with DH as he has become really enthused too and keeping me on track.
Cleared the fridge out today (DH has been in charge since my injury so it was rather scary!) . Now it’s all cleared and spotless and we’ve bought (sorry) some bins to keep jars etc neat and to stop them getting lost in the back. He keeps saying how good it looks now!
Also emptied the breakfast cereal cupboard that we had both forgotten housed cereal (d’oh) so you can image there was some use by date horror contained.
We’re not counting food in our clearance numbers as I want to clear ‘extra’ things for our target.
Few more bits for the CS today
356 coffee pod stand
357 lots of paperwork shredded for recycling
Not big numbers today but HUGE satisfaction.
Off to polish the gold stars 😇😇
Thankyou all for keeping me enthusiastic

A bag (#7) to the charity shop today and the post mountain continues to reduce, our paper recycling box is rarely this full ! On the down side I’ve found stuff that is much older than I expected it to be, I don’t appear to have missed anything major thankfully.2025 Decluttering Campaign Mrs SD –The joy of decluttering 45.5/104⭐️

In the loft the other day I found some old books and journals saved in a lever arch file from doing a Masters about 15 years ago, posting today to a friend who works in that field and is interested in them.
Yesterday I sorted1 black sack of paperwork from my loft - mostly OH's tax returns from 2000 & 2001, he is a hoarder and I had to take it into work to do so he wont know.8 -
Mrs Salad Dodger - Thanks, the challenge is most definitely needed here! Though I have to admit I am also counting things like consolidating shampoos into one bottle, I have the awful habbit of buying and starting new when I've only emptied the conditioner! I'm trying to do no spend feb and joining in with the Fashion on the Ration Challenge too! I'm definitely a hoarder who longs for a minimalist life
I got a surprise afternoon at home, so tried to get a few numbers down and some things gone! I've just decluttered a load of Christmas chocolates, does that count? thought not...
