Managed to persuade DH that sending clothes to the charity shop isn't getting rid of them, but helping people who might not be able to afford stuff :money:. Got his agreement to send 21 pieces to the cs and the same of brand new items - some for the cs are new with tags - to see if our gardener or friends might want them - if not they'll take them to a cs. Also sorted another 25 items of mine for cs. If we aren't going out I usually wear a long kaftan as getting dressed involves DH help and I hate it!:mad:Clutter free wannabee 2021 /52 bags to cs. /2021 'stuff' out of the placeYOU CANNOT BE ALL THE GOOD THAT THE WORLD NEEDS, BUT THE WORLD NEEDS ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN BEtaken from Shelbizleee on YouTube - her copyright4

Ideas - take a bag of old newspapers to work for art, light a candle, put another toy on selling site, do a bag full of shredding, making jam tarts with jams in fridge that don't get used and lard (one of the ingredients we had to buy for food nutrition) batch 2 made, top of my wardrobe... what is up there?, find out where to take ceramic children's mugs.
Listed - children's hangers x16 free, 3 hoodies, bead toy, baby cookbooks
Current totals 95/2020 8/52Decluttering target:
Beauty product - 11/52, last item - bubble bath used while I shaved legs, 2 conditioners sachets from used hair dye boxes

Oooh - thank you for the Gold Star ⭐️, Mrs SD
I came across this on FB and thought fellow declutterers might smile at it too:
"My husband and I play a game. Whenever we go over to someone's house, we bring something we have decluttered and secretly hide it in their house in plain sight. Somewhere that it makes sense to be: books on the bookshelf, mugs in a cupboard etc. We've gotten rid of so much stuff and only one person ever noticed."4 -
A bit more done here over the weekend.
Magazines sorted - some where I have nobody to pass them to have gone to recycling, and a pile of running magazines are going to come into work with me to pass to my female boss who is also a runner.
MrEH and I have committed to start making a point of actually watching some of the accumulation of DVD's - three dealt with over the weekend - two to the "to keep" pile but one has gone ready for the CS bag. It's a start!
Makeup brushes all washed and tidily back in the jug they live in - which also had a wash. It was lovely putting on powder with a clean powder brush this morning!
Made a point of using some of the jam from the fridge on my toast over the weekend as we have part-used jars in there and I'm darned if I want to let them go off!
Also raided the fridge drawer and threw half a swede, a couple of heading-towards-bendy carrots, and three rather soft beetroot into the slow cooker with a chunk of beef from the freezer, some of the onion mountain(Aldi super 6!) some home grown tatties that MrEH dug up and various split peas, pearl barley etc - hopefully we should have a tasty dinner waiting for us when we arrive home tonight! (And all from stuff we already had - go us!)
Not bad! I think this evening's job needs to be to cast an eye along the rail in the wardrobe and see if there is anything in there that someone else might love more than I do which can go to the CS bag.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hi everyone
Please can I join even though I'm a month late to the game??
We moved house last year and I appointed a miscellaneous crap room which is where I chucked all my...well, miscellaneous crap. I've managed to kinda squeeze it down to a crap wardrobe but I would like to be truly free of most of it. Especially seeing as I have no idea what most of it is!5 -

:hello: and welcome aboard pinkcactus :j There is no such thing as ‘late to the game’You have been planning & also decluttering - as evidenced by squeezing items from a room into a wardrobe
Looking forward to reading your posts when you identify your c*ap :rotfl: The ‘Decluttering Game’ is one WE WILL ALL WIN - it is just that some of us (including me :rotfl:) may take longer than others :rotfl:
