So, house searching has borne fruit and we have had our offer accepted!
Whilst gathering documents needed we had a sort of all paperwork, so everything over 3 years old is now gone. Also decluttered some biscuits which have been around for far too long!2 -
Decluttered the kitchen worktop and mostly returned things to their correct place. Excess of spices added to the storage box, rather than causing clutter.
And... three packs of tea binned. One was quite pricey but so disappointing and just looking at it annoyed me!
Also found some cherry bakewell tea so currently sipping that. Need to rotate teas more often so I actually use some up.
Also decluttered the raised bed of veg that didn’t grow. Since he foxes keep digging it up anyway. Recovered it with netting in the hopes that the foxes will get bored.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?2 -
1. DO NOT PUT OFF TO TOMORROW WHAT CAN/SHOULD BE DONE TODAY
2. WRITE AND USE “TO DO LISTS”
3. LEAVE A ROOM TIDIER THAN WHEN I ENTERED
4. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT
5. WHEN DEALING WITH CLUTTER I WILL USE ‘Daisy1571’s idea of ‘WHAT WOULD I DO WITH THIS ITEM IF IT WAS SOMEONE ELSE’S ?’
Friday remained dreary & rainy & I never did get back to bedDH & I went to my hearing aids checkup appointment - everything fine so just need to be more consistent wearing them
Posted a few letters & then DH & I went to our usual pub & spent a few hours drinking beer (too much  :rotfl:) & making plans. Even had pen & paper to make notes :rotfl: DH texted my DSis to ask her to put the dinner on but she never read her messages
. I put the cottage pie on to heat up & then DH & I promptly fell asleep for 1.5 hours
Dinner was extremely late & DSis decided to have something else - fried eggs on toast. Her portion of cottage pie will now be the starter for my next hm soup :T
I fell asleep, sitting up on the sofa& I was woken up by the milkman collecting payment
- 2 months worth
Slightly brighter weather today & no rain - yet :T
The plates etc have been wrapped in newspaper & bagged up for the CS. Yet another lazy day but I do need to do a small sm shopotherwise no dinner tonight

Yes, I've just decluttered the chocolate fingers still sitting there from Christmas. Very moreish.
Not feeling well this weekend so I've contented myself with two Lino off cuts put outside the front. If they don't vanish overnight I'll take them to the tip. Some had taken the rubber mat, although it was out there over a week. And the bags of material I couldn't find a home for have gone to a local primary school for craft which makes me feel better than recycling them. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.2 -
