3. LEAVE A ROOM TIDIER THAN WHEN I ENTERED
4. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT

I know it is the 31st January and I have missed a month but may I join please.
Last year I aimed to get rid of 2019 things and make £2019 I think I failed but desperately need to try again as the house is literally bursting and we could do with some money lol.1 -

I can probably do a second pass on the drawers at some stage as well. It somehow feels less rewarding than the sort of impact that can be made at home, though.
I did find it rewarding as it’s now tidy and organised... but my nearest desk neighbour did ask if I was leaving :rotfl:working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?1 -

Took another 3 bags of books to the charity shop - well to Tesco - who sell them for donations which go to charity - just can't remember which one. We were very adventurous on our day out yesterday and had lunch in Tesco's in St. Leonards rather than Sainsbury's in Hastings. :rotfl: Then took a couple of miscellaneous bags to Shelter also in St. Leonards.
I decided that I'm going to be honest with myself and get rid of clothes that I would only wear if everything else is in the wash - and I have a lot of clothes. So that's 4 more cs bags - 91 items - ready to go. There are quite a few big jumpers that I needed when I lived in Oldham, Manchester, but now I've been transplanted to the SE I'm often too hot - plus we keep the house warm for M-I-L. It's mainly when I'm in the wheelchair I need to wrap up. We went to see the sea yesterday and it was wild. Lots of shingle from the beach in the car park. I sat in the car and looked, while hubby went for a walk on the front.
3 nights away last week visiting family so plenty of money decluttered :rotfl: but it was well worth it.Clutter free wannabee 2021 /52 bags to cs. /2021 'stuff' out of the placeYOU CANNOT BE ALL THE GOOD THAT THE WORLD NEEDS, BUT THE WORLD NEEDS ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN BEtaken from Shelbizleee on YouTube - her copyright2 -
Day 31
First month has been completed and I'm feeling rather pleased. Not just with the progress but with my commitment to it staying on course. Now today is DS1 birthday so we have things arriving into the house but I feel more relaxed about it knowing how much has left the house in the past 30 days. So onto today..
- 3 carrier bags of assorted paper plates, napkins and plastic cutlery found in the garage, accumulated from the various kids parties etc...So we've kept what is in good condition and will be useful (less than 1 carrier bag) and taken the rest to work as they will get used up.MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......2 -
