A bit more from me last night:
Pair of old walking boots > binned
Skirt that I don't like and won't wear again > CS bag
2 x jumpers - too big > CS bag
Pile of old receipts > Shredding pile
Fridge checked over - jars reorganised to make things more accessible for using up - a few things binned as past it or that we didn't enjoy enough to want to keep.
Also some CD's moved about to make space and the space then filled with some that were sitting on top of the rack.
I think I might start bringing the shredding in a pile at a time to feed through the big shredder at work. It makes life a lot easier than having to feed the home one three sheets at a time!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Hello
A bit from me too today.
From behind the welsh dresser, an old mirror - tipped, a caravan mirror and a glass shelf from an old fridge - to DH's shed. I had forgotten they were there or why !
Recycled 6 spice jars/containers and a diffuser oil bottle. Also gone a very large cardboard box found in the shed.
Still more to go but every little helps eh ?
nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently7 -
nothing from me again today. I am just plodding along during the week. I think some books will be gone tomorrow. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x6 -
- One single oven glove > CS bag (I will only use the ones that come as a pair joined together otherwise I WILL end up grabbing something blazing hot from the oven with the hand without the glove on)
- 2 bits of packaging from the beeswax wraps we bought a while ago > Recycling. No idea why we even kept it!
- A glass bottle from the fridge that was emptied of contents last night - the paint is coming off the inside of the lid so it's no good to use again > recycling.
Also used up
- a box of bargainous basmati rice & quinoa for dinner tonight - I still have another 2 in the cupboard though so have opened another. (24p each for a 500g pack - no brainer!)
- The last of a packet of smoked seeds - again we have another pack though so those are now opened.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Had a great afternoon - out for SIX hours with my friends. They had cheeseburgers & I had a mushroom risotto - quite tasty but the pub had contracted its menuDinner was egg & chips for DSis, bowl of soup for me & lo salmon en croute for DH (from his friend Bear) DSis did her washing whilst I was out & DH had a mini garage tidy & washed both bikes.

Well Done shangaijimmy :T great decluttering :T
Good work notmy1sttime :T. I must say that although it is the same resultI don’t think you get the same satisfaction from shredding at work rather than home
**see below**
Excellent work pixtotts :T Surprise day at home - lots of decluttering :rotfl:
Great work Marpau :T I love the idea of taking coat hangers on holiday & leaving them behind :rotfl:
Great work EssexHebridean :T **OK I concede - you can get great satisfaction from sing an industrial shredder** :rotfl: The single gloves are always too thick to feel anything but the joined gloves always seem to be too thinQuire often I fold tea towels & use them to take trays/tins out of the oven
Absolutely nannywindow :j every single item out or relocated is a win :T
Nicnak you are still planning :T Just because RL gets in the way, does not mean you are not decluttering
Getting worried about the big changeover on Thursdayhope it all goes well 🤞 + a new password to think of
See you all tomorrow

haha the heavy duty shredder is unquestionably satisfying to use - not least as the home one needs a rest over 10 minutes and also tends to get clogged quite badly.
I also have been known to grab a folded tea towel and that's pretty much exactly what MrEH usually does as well - I agree about single gloves being too thick too!
Well done on starting to catch up with your "behinds" a bit too! :T 15 items is nothing - I bet you will catch that up!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

118-129: coathangers to the ex for his Hawaiian shirt collection.
130: one TV series off the recorder.
