Sorted through some of the children’s toys today and managed to fill a bag, so this will be off to the charity shop tomorrow, bag #8.
Perhaps more momentously, the post mountain is no more !! DH was away with work for a week, so I watched no telly and dealt with the mountain instead.
My aim this week is to declutter socks and pants, I’m sure DS2 is wearing some socks for 6-12 months and he’s 2 next week!
I’m struggling a bit with the new forum but hopefully will get the hang of it soon.

Look at all the progress being made here - amazing how a weekend of grim weather can incentivise us all isn't it!
I actually started with a list on Saturday but then we did SO much yesterday I stopped listing.
The bones of it though:
> CS
2 car mats
3 photo frames
craft stuff
an unopened pack of plastic champagne flutes
Assorted kitchen bits
Several more DVD's
Several more books
> Rubbish/Recycling
3 x old spice jars
An old rear wiper blade
some disposable plastic bowls - ancient!
A (very) old Sky broadband router
Another video
A cardboard tube with some very ancient posters rolled up in it
An insulated bag we got given with a cheese purchase
Nivea Micallar water cleanser finished and bottle > recycling
More assorted "stuff" than you could believe!
> Other
Card making stuff set aside to post to a friend
A bag of shredding brought to the office and already shredded
MrEH did indeed take the charity bag that we have ready with him on Saturday morning when he went to the barbers - since then though we have filled two more so that will be a job for next weekend now! Also filled two rubbish sacks yesterday - it was too windy to take those out last night so they'll need to go tonight. I can actually start to see that we're making a difference now which makes it so much easier to carry on doesn't it!

Before we went away last time, for our usual 3 night jaunt - DH decluttered car mats into the car. They've only been waiting since we changed cars in August 2018
. The car began behaving oddly on the 2nd day - no guts - I was thinking all sorts - it's a motability car - anyway I leant down and pulled, the car mat came from below the pedal, and the car was back to a gutsy little Citroen.
No decluttering here - I'm sorting out cupboard storage - which I have to do regularly as DH just puts things at the front of a shelf - though fair enough he can't find anything if it isn't at the front of a drawer or shelf!
