Hello, I would love to join this group again! I was a member last year until June then life overwhelmed me....
Since I last posted in June last year my DS left school & is now on a gap year which he is funding through his YouTube channel - he's at home a lot at the moment. (i'm self-employed at work from home too - so that's interesting :rotfl:) I ended a relationship - sad but for the best. I paid off my mortgage!! :j I'm half way through an amazing course! I've allowed a bit of weight to creep up - a couple of kilos - and I'd love to declutter that.
I get such a lot from decluttering - not just the additional space but the shift in my energy & I really need that shift at the moment. I'm deep in "Winter Stuck-ness"! I so much more enjoy sharing the journey with other kindred spirits.
My clutter is a mixture of "stuff" and "life admin" - in fact I struggle with the "life admin" side of things way more than the physical. So I would love to count these in my target. In honour of 2020 I will have a target of 20 items / tasks a week that are outside my ordinary.Shifting my energy for 20201 -
I am trying to spend my weekends going through everything so lots of decluttering at the weekend and not much during the week.
386-391- pots to be returned to the store for a free fresh facemask
391-395 - some old schools books put into the recycling bin
395-396 - old pen drawer decluttered so around 30+ pens, pencil etc removed and put in the bin as no longer useful. Only classing it as 2 items
397- two felt organisers given as presents
398 - craft storage box just sold on ebay, off to post it now.
399- two packets of wax melts used all week and then removed from the burner.
400-405 - found a charity that would like left over wool, needles and anything you can send related to knitting/crocheting. I have just sent three pairs of knitting needles, and all my left over yarn. I don't mind it going to charity as this will help communities and people.

Today has been catch up with the e-mail's, take the bathroom door off it's hinges so OH can paint the wall's and then I can get cracking tomorrow with the glossing.£71.93/ £180.001 -
Sunday is here bright & sunny 😎 DSis went down to the beach for a last paddle before check out. DH showered before breakfast. Our last breakfast
Then back to our rooms to finish packing - DSis & I both showered then dressed for the heat :T DH returned DSis’s towel & had his last look at the sea. Thoroughly checked our rooms, left tip for the cleaning staff then retired to the wi-fi area for 20 minutes. Checkout was painless, have tickets for lunch & drinks as we are not being picked up until 4:30 p.m. for transfer to the airport + suitcases are stowed away. We are now chilling in the wi-fi area.
26 & 27 Two pairs of DH socks - Binned
28 - 29 Uu shampoo bottle & Uu deodorant can - Binned

Wow Michelleh : You have been working hard :j It is so nice to have a place for everything & everything in its placeSo many declutterers are sorting their kitchens that I think after sorting the holiday washing etc, that will be my first task & this time I will try to be brutal
Great work Guineapigsqueaks :T An eclectic mix of items leaving your home :T
Moving steadily Barny1979 :T
Welcome back somerandom :hello: nice to see you :j Mixed news but now you are back you are already sounding more upbeatI agree that life admin is somehow more difficult to declutter than physical clutter (except the sentimental stuff
). Perhaps because it is so important. Very MSE :money: decluttering your mortgage :j:j
What a busy bee you have been boultdj :T When you have finished doing the glossing, you can come round mine :rotfl: :rotfl:
