  • I'm following in some of you guys' footsteps and looking at a small area as and when i can. I have just done two kitchen cupboards. Lots of items 2 years old or more. In the bin they go. About 26 items approx. in total. I have space in the cupboards and i can see things carefully.

    Now up to 230!!

Minimal progress, but achieving 1 item everyday as minimum towards 'negative accumulation'. DD birthday today so new stuff into the house and I'm very happy that 20 days worth of stuff has left beforehand :D

    Day 19
    - 1 old school jumper for DS2 (was actually DS1s pushed down to DS2 so well used)

    Day 20
    - Childrens plastic princess vanity unit and stool to CS (not quite left the house, but identified for charity shop run tomorrow morning)
    MFW: Was: £136,000.......Now: £47,736.58......

Boo 😒 our holiday is over  We had our last lunch & then pooled/chilled whilst waiting for our transfer to the airport @ 4:30 p.m. for an 8:45 p.m. flight  Another hot day with some rain. Check in was actually painless, as was going through security :T Even better for DSis & I - there was a bar where we could smoke :p. Plane was 20 minutes late :( but better than the Marseille plane which was delayed by 4 hours  Half way through the flight we hit some bad turbulence but other than that it was an uneventful flight. Arrived back in at Gatwick about 9:30 a.m. to freezing weather :( Collected bags, had a quick ciggie & our pre-booked cab got us home about 11:30 a.m. Straight in & put the kettle on for a cuppa :p
As it was so cold we all got changed into warm clothes. I managed to unpack DH & my bags + mostly sorted my post ;) Had a delivery of pizza for late lunch & then fish’n’chips delivered for dinner. All 3 of us were nodding off & on until bedtime. I went to bed very late & DH was snoring so only in bed for an hour. Got up & dressed & started sorting the washing including the bedding I had stripped off before going on holiday ;) The 1st wash load is done but it is still frosty outside so will be using the td :o
I have come home fully refreshed (but still have the gippy tummy :() so have already taken out 2 dressy tops from my wardrobe for the cs - not worn in a year :p

30 - 35 Two magazines, 2 newspapers, post envelopes, cardboard packaging - Recycled
    36 - 37 Two dressy tops - CS bag
38 One ball of wool knitted into a scarf for the homeless

Today will be taken up with washing & drying + sorting paperwork

    Cheerleading starts here ;)
