Marpau Thank you for the info, I've found a knitting for preemies in my city. Sent them an invite.

Trawled through my video game collection yesterday, grabbed 16 to go, and went through a couple of kitchen drawers today with bf's help. 17 more things. (Extra kilners, rubbish scissors, duplicate spatulas etc, plus expired food - old flour etc)

I have a large folder containing the Order of Service Memorial commemorations for funerals of friends and acquaintances I,ve lost over the years, many of which contain photos I would like to keep. .

It seems somehow disrespectful and sad to bin them so I've no idea what to do with them short of asking for them to be put in my coffin so that they can accompany me in my own last journey ! Any ideas?

Another knitting project that hospitals want are nightly coloured blankets for elderly patients. If these are out on the beds it's meant to reduce falls as there is more contrast than the standard hospital blankets.
  • Small lunch for me & lots of water :A Larger lunches for DH & DSis ;) Have written & posted all my postcards :T Will be off to the beach later :D

  • Hi Mrs Salad Dodger, please count me in. This is the year I'm going to get organised, starting with the ten boxes and bags of papers awaiting sorting and filing! (That having to keep tax documents and receipts for five years is a right pain.) Then to tackle the vast quantities of rubbish - sorry, treasured possessions - left for us to store by the darling adult children on selling up and moving from house to tiny flat to take up studying again as mature students.

Am inspired by some of the posts I've read here, and think starting small but in regular spells will get me over the hump of feeling too exhausted at the thought of tackling such big jobs, what do you think?

  • Reported them too so hopefully will be removed.

I have decluttered a cherry beer from the fridge, a ripple and a packet of crisps.

I have several big items leaving the house tomorrow and Sunday so will update fully then. I am working through the socks. I seem to have an unusual number of odd ones and so have left them on the side. If by the time I wash everything and put it away they are still there alone, then they will be binned. x

  • One bag of clothes to the children’s old nursery and I’ve sorted through the kids craft drawers and recycled a large bag of paper stuff.
I’ve also started to go through our toiletries and my sanitary stuff and am putting together a bag of unused items for the food bank but haven’t finished yet.

    4 bags down, 48 to go !

62-65: food past its best that I really didn't fancy this week.
