36 - finally finished up a cleanser I don't like very much, it's been lurking for a while
37 - old packaging for a perfume set recycled, not sure why I kept this for 2 years in the bottom of cupboard...
38 - 2cm of old school newsletters from the file in the kitchen, recycled

Ideas - light a candle, put a n other toy on selling site (photo taken), do a bag full of shredding, sell / CS baby cooking books, making jam tarts with jams in fridge that don't get used and lard (one of the ingredients we had to buy for food nutrition) batch 1 made, no jam finished yet.
Listed - children's hangers x16 free, 3 hoodies (put on other sites too now)

    Current totals 38/2020 5/52
    Decluttering target:
Beauty product - 11/52, last item - bubble bath used while I shaved legs, 2 conditioners sachets from used hair dye boxes
    Play room - 41/52, last item -
    Clothes - 23/52, last item -
    Food - 13/52, last item -
  • It took me a couple of hours to read through the whole thread yesterday but every five pages I did a little bit of a declutter. Good motivation.

I'll start my 2020 list today so currently have:

1 - Three crates of recycling to go to the supermarket this afternoon.
2 - 200 emails actioned, deleted and unsubscribed if necessary

I'm decluttering everything and selling lots on various online outlets, giving bits away etc. I'll do a car boot sale in the summer. All of this is being stored tidily in a big cupboard. I'm not counting these things until they leave my flat!

  • DH & I went back to our room, picked up a towel & went down to the r beach. Had half an hour paddling & swimming - DSis joined us for 15 minutes. Then back to room, showered & dressed for dinner. Then into wi-fi area as only 9:15 p.m. - someone kicked out the plug AGAIN :( However that meant we actually watched & thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment - 5 guys & 3 girls. :D

Winspiration many thanks for your suggestion. I actually had a dream last night and saw my dolls on beds in my future cornish home so I have made the decision to keep them. There are a few things which really can't be decluttered x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

56-58: 3 routers from previous broadband companies to the bin.
59: a wodge of emails deleted, some unsubscribed
60-61: 2 folders of photos deleted from the external hard drive. (Also remembered there was a back up of the photos so cleared that as well.)

Having a decently stocked larder has worked this week as I've been a bit under the weather due to something viral. Enough to cobble together "food" that I wanted to eat but I wouldn't describe them as balanced meals :rotfl:

Bag of bras to local lingerie shop for their charity collection.

I won't confess to how much came in after today's shopping expedition, but it's all stuff I'll use (and the freezer is now stuffed full of frozen fish for quick meals when I start back at work).
