I opened a tube of hand cream I hadn't used for a while and it had gone black. Mould maybe? Binned it anyway as it wasn't my favourite even unmouldy. Gave a box of spare decs to a friend as my tree is so small. Wrapped enough gifts to use up a roll of paper, does that count?! Chucked about 15 jars in the recycling as no one wanted them for jam or chutney and I have enough.Magnolia Stellata10

Felt overwhelmed by stuff this morning so spurred me on to put things in CS bag - a few things already in there but hadn't counted and also some in rag back approx 26 so 2418 - 2444.(sheets, books, kitchen stuff etc)
rolling of wrapping paper, some items from *kea (counting as one as only briefly in my house) , main pressie , duvet cover handed over to DD1 2448
unsubscribed from shop emails, and deleted some whatsapp threads 2450
tidied hall and swept floors downstairs and some dusting.
Have some difficult emails to do so will count when done!
In tier 4 so apart from work can try and get some more done. Stay safe and well. x10 -
Hello MrsSD and fellow declutterers, emptied out the newspaper basket this morning. It's become a dumping ground for all sorts of paper of different types so it needed to be done. Managed to clear it out and throw the majority of it into the paper recycling bin. One small step forward. Off work now till 29th, so will look to take the opportunity to undertake small decluttering tasks until then. Stay safe..9

nannywindow said:Yesterday I shredded a lot of paperwork and now I have a full black bag ready to go out on Tuesday. Thank goodness for our bin men, they will take it in recycling as we're back in lockdownDecluttered the washing basket, 2 empty sauce bottles and a milk carton into the recycling. 2 wine flutes and 2 more mugs into the cs bag. Even the birds are helping to declutter as they've decimated the bird feeder againKeep safe all and happy decluttering.nan9

Wow blimey... so much clearing going on. Fab efforts all
thanks for cheerleading @Mrs_Salad_Dodger
Bag dropped off to charity - 22 items (pulled three out last minute to send to a relative)
Unfortunately lol I have 2 in's from charity pair of Gant boots and hoody - love both and you only live once so treated myself. At this rate I will wear the boots out on the ebay runs
Plus one has put the TV up for sale so fingers crossed there.
Not sure what tomorrow will bring.. More paperwork decluttering I expect.
If I feel brave enough I will do the medicine cabinet.
Have a good week all
Sam xx

garden_girl2 - I like the idea of the hedgehog rescue for the shredded paper!
2451 - 2455 4 boxed of incense collected f/cyle
2456 non working charger11 -
Thanks garden_girl but sadly none near us. The nearest one is 40 miles away at Bristol and I'm in Wales. I hadn't heard of giving shredded paper to hedgehog rescues, perhaps it might help someone else though. It's marvellous what information can be shared with just a simple comment !nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently10

D2 has been sorting and clearing out things
4 nail varnishes (I'm keeping one), pen and fidget spinner, and other bits and pieces. She asked why if I'm keen for her to get rid of things do I double check if she can't use it for some other use, or hesitate to see if I can use it (clearly how my house has become cluttered!) .
2457 - 2460 DD things
Also have pile of white ankle socks (good condition except DD worn round house so grey underneath) - will count when either used as stuffing or recycled. Putting like with like does help realise how much of anything I have. rediscovered some batteries and was about to buy more so now all (or most) in one drawer.
