No worries MrsSD I did smile, honest, I also got the later reference to "To a Mouse " poem, now that was really below the belt
Anyway I think they've moved out as there is no sign of them today, hope they take their xmas tree with them and all their rubbish and not leave it for me to declutter. I've got enough of my own to deal with !!
Made it out from the office, it's now minus the dust and lots of odds and ends that should have been binned first as lastTomorrow I need to sort some of paperwork in there and start shredding. Exciting eh ?
Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9 -

4. JUST DO ONE THING (courtesy of bit_by_bit)Friday has been a dry, dark day ☹️ DSis has spent the day in her room - again. DH has spent most of the day in his office but has zizzed the peelings & fed the worms + filled the bird feeders - seed & fat balls.Day 5 - batch cooking mince for cottage pies & bolognese sauce; teeny bit of paperwork; watered the indoor plants; watching TWD - only 4 & a bit episodes to watch 😉; lots of knitting; sorted out deep kitchen drawer - can now see everything & have moved a couple of items to a more useful home 😉 Sadly nothing to dispose of ☹️
Dinner was cottage pie (now there’s a surprise 😛) DSis has just told me she didn’t fancy cottage pie but the first mouthful changed her mind 😉 - she scraped her bowl clean 😂

A few years ago I decided to only buy the same colour socks and now a problem as all slightly different so a nightmare to pair. Have 10 pairs which don't quite match and another 11 which are not pairable! At some point have to give up trying to find the partners and will buy more distinguishable socks in future8

Hi Everyone.
Been an overwhelming week. I managed to get rid /recycle some old hangers, paperwork (old receipts ) and pj's this evening.
I have a sack of 25 items that may go to charity or I may put on ebay/gumtree, not sure yet.
Still have the defunct microwave to go - been there 6 months (probably more) I reckon.
I found 5 big boxes round the house (under the bed) but have kept for any sales packing at the moment. Stitched myself up as I'm packing and posting sold items tomorrow so that should be fun. It's gone mad but I'm really happy to have the sales and still many items selling with bids on. I've even started on plus ones stuff to sellwith his consent of course.
Getting stressed that we haven't done our Xmas food shop due to being so busy but it's looking likely to be Tuesday or Wednesday.
Absolutely loving the minimalism around the home brings a sense of calm to a mind of chaos lol.
Gutted that we have no Xmas tree but next year we can make up for it.
Up and down but that's the pressure of this time of year.
Enjoyed catching up on all the declutter madness everyone seems to be doing so well.
Stay motivated,
Sam.
