Well update on DD new home, curtains in main bedroom up, lots of boxes emptied, and lots of empty boxes, etc gone to someone on fbk. Thank goodness they havent comeback here, empty.
Today we decluttered unused boxes, a headboard and half a single divan to the tip. First visit since we have had a new one built...very nice, except the aroma!!! As the wheelie bin lorries also go there to be sorted.... then a breeze got up and the sugarbeet factory smell took over....made it a bit better, but not a lot..... 2nd half of bed wouldnt fit in car, so another trip to book soon. Will wait and see if theres any more boxes to go.maybe a lawnmower which was left in her shed we havent tried it yet, but its a big one and shes only got a tiny bit of grass. Bolts etc found over weekend so little metal bed frame took to charity warehouse as well. I can now get in my shed.... we did go in the second hand shop to see if there was a table or desk for our "empty" bedroom, but nothing suitable.... very MSE of us!!😀😀7 -

Hurray i sold a completely unused thing I was given last Xmas and it went for £50 which helped me not feel guilty about selling a gift! chap came and collected and gave me cash so i've carefully quarantined the notes and will use them towards the Xmas festive fare (and drink obviously!). Its a really good feeling knowing I can contribute if I do get to go to see family on The Day, I know they wouldnt mind if i turned up without but there's nothing like being able to bring bottles and boxes and nice things for all is there. (I'll make sure I get my share too!). I'm planning one supermarket trip next weekend and I will be filling my trolley with goodies for sure. In the New Year it'll be back to austerity.Magnolia Stellata9

Some more has been done
1749-1752 odd socks
1753-1756 old towels
1757-1758 old blankets
1759-1769 paper chains to DS1
1770-1775 keyrings
1776-1777 diffuser and reeds
1778 mini bench
1779-1781 pieces of wood
1781-1830 records
1831-1832 paint tins
1833 scrunchie
1834 plastic tub
1835 photo frame.
I am getting there this year closer than last year.7 -
I bag of bags for life to CS
I pile of newspapers to recycling.
And a very short tale of two strange objects found in a drawer used to store packets of unused tights.
1 plastic bit from a hairdryer
1 thin rag 2 ins by 10ins now both in bin
Total 58/365
What they were doing in that drawer I don't know. I think elves must be responsible.
Actually what am I doing with a drawer of tights waiting to be worn!
Drastic action needed next year! I am trying out a new strategy first suggested by short_bird of putting all things of one category in one place.
Stay safe everyone.9 -
Evening all, and wonderful work going on.
I have listed 30 items on ebay and already had 3 salesHappy days.
Still a rubbish week but wow what a boost on the money front.
We still haven't gone food shopping so hopefully will get out tomorrow to sort this.
Busy, busy with parcels to post but that's my three today.
Big wash tomorrow (laundry not body)
Can't wait for Friday off and all pressure off for a while.
I am hoping to do a charity drop off this week so if I get chance I will do that before Saturday.
I looked but didn't buy on ebay as it felt like madness to get rid then add more incoming :-)

Three presents given out. That is starting to clear my spare room (again!). I have another few to go this week and then it will be emptier. I can then start to sort it out more as the kitchen gets done and decluttered. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
