One incredibly annoying singing jingle bird donated. One dog christmas pudding outfit and one very bent plastic wreath binned.
Am currently resisting the temptation to retrieve the dictionaryAll shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.8 -
Even though I'm only just back, I've managed to sell DS old xbox 360, so £40 better off than this morning, and it's gone to a friend for her young grandson, so everyone's happy!
I also have a bootful of stuff to take to the tip in a couple of days, and about 20 items of bedding to give away on faceache - won't get to 2020 items, but will end the year with more stuff out than in!

I’ve just had a message to say that the person I gifted the jingle bird to now has a very happy parrot. Which has made my afternoon. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

1. WRITE/USE DECLUTTERING & CLEANING “TO DO LISTS” - MINIMUM 30 MINUTE BURSTS OF ACTIVITY AT LEAST TWICE EVERY DAY2. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT3. I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO BE NICE TO EVERYONE & TRY TO SEE THE FUNNY OR PECULIAR SIDE TO AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
4. JUST DO ONE THING (courtesy of bit_by_bit)Sunday was another dampish, chilly, dark day. DH has been continuing to declutter his office & trying to create a table top space for my repaired/serviced sewing machine.DSis appears to have finished sorting out her bed 😉 - mattress topper, mattress protector, correctly sized fitted sheet 👏 Lots of pennies spent but now happy 😉😉Long chat with neighbour Mr I - jar of tomato chutney promised & he is giving me a few glass jars for next years pickling etc.Day 6 - Hm leek & potato soup (from a recipe 😔) - zizzed & taste tested & can hardly wait for lunch tomorrow 😉 😋; More knitting - scarf is coming along very slowly even with every row knit ☹️ Rather wish I had carried on knitting beanies & hand warmers ☹️; what earns my Gold Star ⭐️ is that I finished sorting my wardrobe - the top shelf is now only half full - the benefit of rolling jeans, trousers & jumpers. Unfortunately only one item for CS bag - an army belt. I did too good a job last time I sorted my wardrobe 😉
Dinner was oven baked sausages & mushrooms, mash, baked beans & plum tomatoes.
2335 - 2339 Kitchen recycling, 2 plastic trays, drinks cans, cardboard packaging - Recycled or repurposed
2340 - 2341 Kitchen detritus, office shredding - Binned
2342 Army belt - CS bagLovely to see you back Cheapskate 👋 It is never too late to join the party 😉 Once you climb aboard the Decluttering Bandwagon you are on board until 31st December 😉 I am definitely setting up an 2021 Decluttering Thread - that will take care of a daily task next week 😂 😉 Regardless of 2020 being pants, you seem to have kept up with the decluttering, so one Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way 🙂 Great result Cheapskate 👏🥳Great work moneyonmymindsam 👏 At least you seem able to motivate yourself each day - remember cleaning is a large part of decluttering.Great work retiredinfrance 👏 Well done for persevering with paperwork drawers 👏 they always take an age to sort 😞 What an excellent way to describe decluttering - as an ‘hobby’ - takes the pressure off 👏 That deserves a Gold Star ⭐️ which is on its way - hopefully it can get through the border checks 😛 I am also sending a 2nd Gold Star ⭐️ for finally sorting out the magazine rack 😉
What an excellent result elsien 👏 It did make me smile that the parrot is happy 😊 but I bet your friend won’t be for long 😉
Great work TC77 👏 shame about the jacket ☹️Good work EnergyShifter 👏 but by my count rearranging your office counts as 5 😉MrsSD ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️🏅

Decluttering has stopped here, I've just lost my mojo. Really hoping I stay well so I can spend a couple of days with family over the Xmas weekend, otherwise it's going to be me on my own the rest of the time, not very festive. But no work from 23rd till after new year so maybe I'll get some more stuff out then.Magnolia Stellata8

Thank you so much, Mrs. SD, for the two gold stars; Never ever in primary school did I get two in one day! I had a quiet day today with a trip to the post office then some RL admin. I'm off to the charity shop tomorrow among other places but am determined not to bring clutter into the house. Trouble is stuff only turns into clutter later , like a Prince into a..........
I think books are fine as they end up being given back mostly and I have stopped buying clothes for now/ I just need to be careful with ornaments.
Stay safe everyone.7 -
