Lol Mrs SD. If I counted all the months or even years some of the stuff had been in my house I would be in the 1000s of bags.
I have dropped 3 bags off today to the refugee point. They have been waiting round for about 6 weeks so glad that they have gone. 85/100 bags gone now.

Old spice rack put outside - will be recycled if no one wants it.Another book sort out and have got rid of 5 so far, including a 2005 Collins unabridged dictionary which is huge and weighs a ton. I will be sorry to see it go because I’ve always liked the idea of a “proper” dictionary. However the reality is that it is pristine because I do what everyone else probably does and Google’s it instead. It’s on freegle in the hope it will get a home where it might be valued.2013 job seeker and job application information shredded.

Morning everyone!
I've been MIA for months, this year's been pants in so many ways, hope it's not to late to re-join the party, and hope that you'll be starting a new thread for 2021, @Mrs_Salad_Dodger!
I have got rid of a lot of stuff this year, but lost count (and the plot!) ages ago. I'm getting back to OS ways now, ready for 2021 - watching the pennies, prepping, making do and mending...the whole lot!
Hope to "see" you all more regularly!

Morning all,
Super impressive clear outs going on.
Only usual kitchen rubbish yesterday so have speed cleaned and done a round of washing and folded and put away this morning.
Water is on for my bath and going to do my hair, need to walk the dogs (again) although the weather is pretty dire here.
Pacing myself this week as appointments tomorrow and Thursday but I might start ebay again Friday. I've left a couple of higher priced buy it nows on but took down a lot of listings as I'm exhausted.
We (plus one) seem to have brought back quite a bit of stuff from mums so that will need sorting out. Plus ones Old TV to be sold.....Fingers crossed.
Feels like a massive effort today just to speed up the tidy and tidy myself lol.
Another overwhelming week ahead but all I can do is take it day by day.
Think the place looks pretty good and getting easy to maintain.
I need to take some time to weigh up if selling on ebay vs my time is beneficial to me. Perhaps I ought to cherry pick higher value and donate the rest as seem to be over thinking.
Hope everyone is staying safe and not feeling too pressured with Xmas looming.

Spent the morning working through two drawers in my desk and cleared out a load of paperwork, paper and rubbish. One drawer done and to be used only for admin not current , but the other one is cards other than Christmas cards. I will leave it for later. Another day, perhaps as I had paper to sort into bin and recycling piles and another pile of cellophane envelopes that cards are sold in to keep for my card-making friend.
1 pile paper
1 pile cellophane envelopes
1 book
Total= 53/365
Stay safe everyone.7 -
I forgot to tell you all that I finally got the magazine rack into the corner between the wall and the desk and even though I say it myself ,the corner now looks fabulous and falling over the rack is no longer a danger to me.
Decluttering is such a good hobby.
Stay safe everyone.11
