1. WRITE AND USE “TO DO LISTS” - MINIMUM 30 MINUTE BURSTS OF ACTIVITY AT LEAST TWICE EVERY DAY2. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT3. I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO BE NICE TO EVERYONE & TRY TO SEE THE FUNNY OR PECULIAR SIDE TO AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUE
Two hours after my previous post it started raining on & off - just light drizzle but a bit disappointing. I changed the water for my anniversary flowers, added food & only had to compost 3 blooms 🥳Dinner was roast beef, roast potatoes, parsnips & hg tomatoes, broccoli & cabbage & the obligatory Yorkshire Pudding. DH made gravy from scratch. Absolutely delicious 🤤
One slice of beef, a few roast potatoes & some cabbage lo. The lo tomatoes & gravy have been added to the soup I made today using limp veg from the fridge, onion & garlic, couple of bits from the freezer & lentils. The hm soup needs zizzing & tasting 😉 Washed up, dried & put away - no evidence we had dinner 😉 apart from our full tummies 😆
Now watching The Hades Factor about a man made Ebola type virus - I am weird in that way but at least Covid19 doesn’t lead to bleeding from every orifice 😱
1818 - 1819 Glass bottle, drinks cans - Recycled
1820 - 1821 Plastic packaging, bag of kitchen detritus - BinnedGreat work newlywed 👏 I need a couple of pairs of shoes, may I ask if the brand is ‘H*tt*r? Meanwhile I am very impressed with the one in, one out decluttering 👏 Congrats on the weight loss 🙂
Excellent villagelife 👏 Now I know how to do it - if DH complains about something, I just get rid of it 😆
No problem bit_by_bit 👏 Brilliant decluttering, the refugee centre must be so pleased with your donations 🙂What a great idea to store summer clothes in boxes under the bed 👏 I think I might ‘borrow’ that idea, if that is OK although I might use suitcases rather than boxes 🤔
Good work EnergyShifter 👏

Hi @Mrs_Salad_Dodger. Yes indeed that is the brand. Can buy them very lightly used on eb@y for less than half price. Just check all the photos carefully as some are definitely way more worn than others! I have a few pairs already that aren’t wide fit and those I plan to replace when they appear for my price range.I am a few years under their target customer range and only like selected styles
but definitely have reached the age where I prefer not to have uncomfortable feet!

Mrs_Salad_Dodger said:You have doggies digging up your garden savvy, we have squirrels & foxes 😔 Re the old motorbike on the drive, can you freegle it or maybe e-beast it for a few quid (for parts) - buyer collects? Please be careful savvy! Can you sell the excess strimmers & the broken remote control plane - start a fund for repairing the drive?Awww that's lovely you have foxes visiting though
I just have the naughtiest doggies and ones that aren't even mine! Lol it really is past anything unfortunately, was to be a project for me and my Dad, but he got ill
Yep hoping to start selling when I get 5 minutes to sort it all out, there is tons here to go but little time for taking pics, listing and dealing with time wasters - I get enough of them with my business as it is!

TC77 said:Savvy - 4 strimmers is good going! Why do we get stuck with ex's clutter - surely they can find the CS/recycle or bin!Found another padlock which none of the dozen keys I have fit - keeping and will keep to end of the year - having got rid of bike locks and now thiink I have the keys!I honestly don't know, but does my head in, you declutter yourself of the ex but get left with their crap! Even found an old toolbag of the original ex I bought the house with 29 years ago in the toolshed, could have sworn he had those back!!!
Maybe I couldn't find them and deliver to his mother (he lives in Thailand)
OMG yesssss, so many keys and padlocks here, it drives me mad - they could be useful if I could find the right keys! Any new ones now I am labelling so I know what they are for lol!! And then technology is another major clutter, wires everywhere that I don't know what they are for, so again new ones are getting labelled as soon as they arrive!!!!!I have the same issue with clothes, some too big some too small - so have decided instead of buying new I'm going to upcycle them, bit of 'fashion frankenstein' going on.............errr when I get the time!!

I've just got rid of 8K. Might sound dramatic but it's the rest of a financial separation order to buy my house outright from my ex. I think it's worth mentioning though as technically it is decluttering something. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

As Bit_by_Bit pointed out , one thing does lead to another....
The mirror in the spare room bed has found a new home in a chest of drawers in the Utility room.... Inside which I found a cardboard box .....now in recycling. In my way back through the garage I decluttered 4 tatty garden gloves to the bin.
5 items out.
Back in the spare room to smooth the bed I decluttered 8 craft magazines for the CS.
As it was still raining i thought I would start on the craft stashes, but I lost heart and will leave them for another day. While looking through all the wool I had a go at the sock box and decluttered 4 pairs of socks which will end up at the charity shop.
These socks sum up our previous cluttered life. They were DH's socks good quality wool winter socks and then he switched to cotton and so as not to " waste " then I got them, but as they were too big, I never wore them Worse still they came with us to France, 7 years ago.
Still that was then.
Total was 68, now 85.
Keep safe everyone.9
