I remember years ago I occasionally used to buy a few packets od dehydrated peas for emergency us whenqi only had a fridge with a tiny little ice box InIt for storing a tray of ice cubes, but never found the peas very appetising. I imagine a dehydrator works more successfully for drying larger items like fruit, ie apples , plums, apricots etc
I dry froze a batch of French Beans loose yesterday's and Can pretty much guarantee they will still be in excellent condition in a few months time if they haven,t all been eaten by then9 -

Oh MrsSD what took you so long to watch that film ? Drool @ Patrick
I always said that at my funeral I want the song "I've had the time if my life " played and then a first dance with Patrick on the other side. Hopefully I will be able to dance then, rather than have 3 left feet
On the decluttering front, I sorted a drawer yesterday which contained paperwork and instruction booklets. Some paperwork binned and some awaiting shredding. Lots of booklets for items that we no longer have are now in the recycling box. Had a cs bag through the door this morning so in goes the ceramic bear and a pair of blackout lining curtains. Now on the hunt for more stuff before it gets picked up.Happy decluttering allnanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9 -
Sorry, but the Dirty Dancing scene has been ruined forever for me by a hysterically funny version in the RSC's production of King John at Stratford a few years back.I'm afraid even the Blessed Patrick couldn't redeem it.A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!

Have been right through the nursery room today and turned all the furniture against the walls to make more floor space, put many things under the single bed and the big fire guard under the toddler bed, luckily the travel cot fits under the bed if it's turned on it's side. Much more organised and have found the potty seat that DD wants so will get that across to her when next we see them. Have just shared bath time and bedtime routine online with Grandaughter and left her sleepily having her bottle of milk it really is my special time with her.9

Morning all, a cunning plan was hatched yesterday and I have persuaded Hubby to replace the shelving units that are in the study (all mismatched and all different heights and widths and colours ) with some new ones from Ikea that will line the back wall and also match the desk we already have. I am going to take back the largest 5 shelf unit which started life many years ago in my store room and have found wall space for it in the kitchen where it will hold all the jars of dry stocks that are currently in the larder cupboards. Then I can have a huge sort out of equipment and move what only gets used occasionally our of the kitchen area and only keep the things I DO use all the time close to the cooker. I can also go through all the crockery and as there are only the two of us now only need to keep enough for day to day purposes, the rest can go into storage for when family are able to come and visit again. It will make a substantial difference to the efficiency of working in the kitchen, woohoo, it's a PLAN!12

1424 another item picked up by freecycler , 2 still not collected. Why express interest in item and not collect? Also why when I put something for sale on f/bay finally acknowledging I don't like it or don't need it, once someone has made a bid or lots of watchers then I think it must be nice and why am I getting rid of it?1425 - 1426 2 pairs of DD1's jeans in CS pileOrdered new glasses so may finally get rid of the pair before the pair before the pair I have now (always need spare pair)!Hopefully more later in the week. Take care everyone x8
