Thanks Mrs.SD we moved here to be closer to family as we get older and it's really lovely to only be a short drive away from DD, the other DD is 40 or so minutes away and much closer too than where we lived before. We've gained from the move because we had limited shops in the village we lived in but here we have a little high street with everything we need for day to day literally 5 minutes walk away from the house including the doctors surgery and the bus stop to the wider world, so much more convenient and a much happier place for us, we fit here in so many more ways than we did in the old village, it's such a friendly little community and I can truly say we're happy.9

Decluttered a load of dust from under the bed
decluttered some life admin, changing gas and electric suppliers, which in turn will declutter some more space in the budget.Planted three more plants so decluttered the kitchen window ledge. A rather large slug had been feasting on one of my new plants so bit upset with that. Guess it’s just nature though.... hopefully the others aren’t so tasty and will survive. Also went for a longer walk the other day to see how unfit I have become, discovered I could potentially walk home from work instead of getting the bus (preparing for a Likely return to the office as they never gave options to wfh before the pandemic). Not sure I could manage to and from the office though so need to build in some preparation walks (which will hopefully declutter the effects of the baking!)working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?8 -
Everyone has been so busy. I have been preoccupied with some family reserach. No clutter, all online.
I have done work in the garden and the allotment over the last few days but really should be in Canada right now. Not to worry, no time will be wasted as we will be having some days out but also attend to some jobs. DD has to move her stuff to her new accomadation next week for uni so that is another day taken plus we are both working at the CS now on different days.
I have been to town today and dropped off a 3 bags of books and a bag of handbags and bits to Oxfam, who may actually sell some of the books. My local CS only sems to sell popular fiction. I also decluttered some hair for the first time since Christmas. I grew to like my long locks that have a natural rock chick wave so they are staying.
I am glad you didn't hurt yourself tripping over that rug TC77. I haven't got any except the bathroom. My sister died last year after falling over a rug and injuring herself. She developed a blood clot becasue she delayed getting treatment. She didn't realise she had broken her ankle. MiL fell this week over some clutter, she hates housework and has always been messy. I think DH married his mother in meLuckily MiL was ok but we have been and decluttered for her.

*281 DD ummed and arrghhed about this abit but prom dress also given to CS. It wasn't a conventional prom dress and too young in design for DD. She knew she wouldn't wear it again. As she was going in to drop it off a lady stopped her and asked about it and went straight into the cs after. We waited to watch but don't know if the cs is operating the 3 day holding policy before items can be sold but it made DD happy that the dress when up for sale, wouldnt be up for long and someone else would get use from it.

We forgot some items for the cs so i will build another pile of items up. Feel on a role at the minuteDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I used all the things up from the fridge that needed using this morning, I had mushrooms, spinach, some ripe (over ripe) tomatoes, a sweet potato, some onions that had soft middles and made a sort of Pasticcio with some macaroni and some dry cheddar and a sauce made from the softer things and slices of sweet potato. Topped it all off with grated cheese and breadcrumbs and baked it in the oven until the potato was soft. I served it up with a salad of raw ribbons of courgette marinated in olive oil and lemon juice dressing. Surprisingly tasty and enough left for a couple more lunches each this week. Had a sort out in the veg rack too and found some turnips donated by DD had 'gone' and so had some sweet potatoes left in a pack so they've been composted.8

Sent off a parcel sold on eBay. Binned collection of tubs and punnets is been saving for planting, too late this year and no idea where I'll be next so don't want to have to take them with me! Freecycled a couple of things.Magnolia Stellata8

Started to demolish a planter in the back garden ready for a new shed. Once that arrives, the entire garage will be decluttered as it wont all fit in the new shed. Some of it will have to go in the loft until I get my office space ready, but most of it will find it's way into the bin. Lots of plans, but not many things happening!September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
