Pffft.
Hang onto surplus scarves for donkey's years, then shortly after donating to the charity shop, realise they'd have been very useful for face coverings. I knew they'd have come in handy day!

561: One more Mother In Law's Tongue plant given away.
562-574: 12 assorted items from the bathroom.
575-590: An assortment of cards from exes, stuff that wasn't as difficult to get rid of as I thought it would be. (phew)
591-602: odd socks flung
603: printer cartridge from 3 printers ago
604-607: old and battered phone, sim cards broken into bits
608-610: Some photos from micro SD card in old phone deleted, rest backed up to the cloud and card put in current phone. The SD card seems to be working OK but, at the time, a lot of photos seemed to go "missing". Anyway, good to have some of them back as Paris was very pretty in August 2016.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

DH & I got up 7:45 a.m. - on a Saturday no less 😉 There was a reason - we were expecting the plumber - header tank had been overflowing on & off. He arrived 8:25 a.m. - up into the loft but unfortunately didn’t have the part - so will be back next Friday/Saturday
He had a nice chat with my DH so I left them to it. An hour later milkman turned up for payment & fortunately had the 6 eggs that he forgot to leave Friday a.m. 😉 Weather has been sunny, overcast then bright, sunny & hot.DH harvested 2 more pots of hg potatoes 🥳
We then spent some time in the garden - pruning, tidying & planting more potato eyes, parsnip seeds & white onion seeds - I know, I know very late to be planting seeds 😱 but you never know. DH also sorted out the wormery. Way too many worms for one wormery so a 2nd has been ordered. The tomato plants are getting very tall & there are quite a few green tomatoes but have yet to have any turn red 🙁I watched Dirty Dancing for the first time in 20 years - Patrick Swayze was sooo hot 😉
Dinner was takeaway fish/pie/kebab & chips.1335 - 1339 Uu glasses lens cleaner spray, kitchen recycling, drinks cans, 2 newspapers - Recycled

I saw a bit of Dirty dancing too. Mmmmmm to Mr Swayze. He really was a great mover.
Got rid of a ton of paperwork from DD. All her lock down work got sent back home so I just had a flick through it and then put in the bin what wasn't needed.
An old hoodie that had holes in, binned
drank a bottle of wine out of the fridge as well. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

A medal! For me?I'm honoured.Of course, I couldn't have done it without all the people in the background like my Family who eat the stuff, the Supermarkets who charge more if you don't buy pre-packed (if they even sell it in the first place) and, most of all, the people who create all the packaging in the first place!A 2 wormery household, eh? Please award yourself a medal...A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!

8 jars of rhubarb and ginger jam made with garden rhubarb yesterday and now going into storage for the winter. My jar cupboard is looking emptier and I have a lot of jars in the dishwasher waiting to be cleaned so I'd better get it full and run the hot programme. We don't use it often as with only two of us in the household it takes an age to fill. I'll be waiting a couple of weeks to let the plants recover and then making a batch of rhubarb chutney which is nice with vegetable curry of all types. I shall also today be running the dehydrator for some of the bean crop, the garden plants are giving generously this year and there are more than two people can eat all ready together so drying them is sense as they take up much less storage space that way. So decluttered jar cupboard and fuller pantry doesn't actually add up to decluttering but makes everything look neater.7

How do you use the dehydrated beans? I'm assuming the texture alters, so it's not as a side dish?I'm still toying with the idea of a dehydrator. Is it one of those things that the more you have it, the more uses you find for it?A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!!

It takes a long time to rehydrate things sometimes a 24 hour soak and the texture is not like fresh by any means but they are OK to eat as a veg and also in mixed dishes like soups and stews. I had a batch when I first got the dehydrator that no matter what I did just wouldn't rehydrate and can only think they were too old when I dried them. I try to use things as fresh as I can from picking to dry these days as they're much more likely to be usable when I rehydrate them later on.
I've got a big 9 tray Excalibur which was a birthday/Christmas present combined from the family a few years ago and it really helps not to waste the crops we grow. I like too that what's dried doesn't need a power source to keep as it sits in jars on a shelf in the store.6 -
Decluttered weeds. Does that count? I have very sore gluteus every muscle this morning so I feel that the declutter shouldn't go unnoticed.11
