Yesterday sorted out my 3 drawed bedside cabinet... thrown away old pens, bits of paper, DD very old christmas/birthday list !!! Leaflets. Cleaned and dusted, then windowsill and sorted a few books into garage box. Then tidied up top of very large chest of drawers, few bits chucked out, cover off and washed. Small tv stand files on DH sgelf he wardrobe(need to keep it just in case tv falls off the wall and we need to stand it on it!!). Today did dressing table and the various baskets, nithung really to throw away apart from a great deal of dust! O nearly forgot on friday i got rid of 9 pot plants to members of my country market committee. We had an outdoor comm meet in one of the ladies meadow, socially distance. Goodness know when and how we will get back to have a CM as SO many rules and regs from head office, toomany atmo to comply to!!
Anyway they were on spare bedroom window sill on little trays, so cleaned all that up today, recyled a few more into compost heap. Makes youfeel good all this decluttering🤣🤣10 -
bit_by-bit - unfortunately I'm only slightly shocked by people's behaviour with donations. My favoured CS is closed Sun/Mon I think for the 72 hour being left as their 'holding' area was totally clear. I've sold a few things on ebay but when I know the CS can get more than I would try and donate.1354 chased a few refunds I haven't received1355 old receipts and tracking of posted items sorted and recycled9

Try again - lost a long post 😡
Tuesday started off bright & sunny & warm. As the day progressed it got overcast, cooler, then chilly & windy & the finally the rain came - a steady drizzle. My vegetables are very grateful 😉
DH went off on his motorbike for another day of Round Britain Rallying around Dorset, Hampshire & Wiltshire with a quick pop in to Somerset. Managed to have coffee & cake in a cafeteria & found a large farm shop. He was out for about 12 hours & came home bearing gifts - broccoli, cabbage, parsnips, sausages, burgers, Scotch eggs, pasties & a lovely treat of Dorset clotted cream fudge - soooooo tasty 😋
DSis spent the day in her room watching TV
I, on the other hand, had quite a productive day. Contacted a cs - open Tuesday to Saturday 10 to 4 & accepting donations. Long chats with ndn & another neighbour. Quick inspection of tomato plants - currently about 20 potential tomatoes 🤞& the chard is thriving 🙂 However, my major achievement was sorting out a large double cupboard in the kitchen. Emptied, scrubbed clean & then most items returned & arranged in a more practical way. Also added a Jean Patrique lidded griddle pan which my DSis gave me as a gift some time ago 🙂 Not much use still in its box & hidden in the dining room 😞😉The 2 clear plastic bags & 2 bubble wrap bags have been used to package up 33 sets of knitted baby bonding squares & 4 baby blankets. I also sourced 2 cardboard boxes. I need to write a couple of notes, then wrap, address & post to a local hospital.Dinner was baked los - cheesy pasta for DSis, cottage pie for DH & me.1212 - 1214 Kitchen recycling, glass jar & metal lid, magazine - Recycled
1215 - 1217 Bag of detritus from DSis, office detritus, kitchen detritus - Binned
1218 - 1220 Saucepan lid (saucepan went yonks ago), manky grill rack, sticky non-stick frying pan - Tip bag
1221 - 1227 Four tea plates, small oval dish, bubble wrap & plastic bag - CS bag

Took DH a while to find a cs open and accepting donations. There are 5 charity shops in Paddock Wood, 3 were closed, 1 not accepting donations and 1 (either changed its name or changed ownership) accepting but sent DH around the back to a lock up garage where they were stofing items to quarantine them. I wnet to the bank to pay in my motability cheque - they were only letting one person in at a time - the manager asked what I wanted to do (he's been turning people away by saying it wasn't essential banking), he took my cheque and debit card and paid it in for me.
After doing errands - collecting prescription drugs from the doctors, posting a couple of items and going to the farm shop - we headed over to the Birling Gap again. It was busy, but plenty of room for social distancing, the toilets and cafe were open this time and people were beng very good - and good humoured. Home via Newhaven to just see what it's like as we would be able to buy a top of the range house there.Clutter free wannabee 2021 /52 bags to cs. /2021 'stuff' out of the placeYOU CANNOT BE ALL THE GOOD THAT THE WORLD NEEDS, BUT THE WORLD NEEDS ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN BEtaken from Shelbizleee on YouTube - her copyright8 -
Ah, Birling Gap brings back many happy memories of a penniless late September honeymoon spent around that location many many years ago. It was a lot more deserted in those days..... and not so many houses had collapsed and tumbled over the cliff edge Into the sea!........but I digress!9

I'm waiting on the delivery of a Swedish Stumpastaken! Oh yes I am.....want to know what it is? it's a very clever bit of kit to burn up leftover candle stumps. It's made from a square candle holder made from recycled aluminium and can take 9 candle stumps, it has a steel cage over the top about 2 inches above the candles and you stand your teapot/coffee pot on it to keep it warm. the holes for the candle stupms are made so that they can take big or small diameter candle stumps and I've got half a drawer full because I can't bear to throw them away. A useful thing and very cheerful in the winter because it makes the room quite light too. Quite expensive at £57 for the holder, a base and the cage but I'll never waste a candle end again.7

At least most people are ok TC77. And yes, you caught me out DUSTING Mrs SD.
Today I took into work a small bag of carrier bags for office use e.g. take goodies home from M&S (colleagues , not me. I am hanging onto my cash). A pair of knee supports I picked up on The Moonwalk last year. I found one, picked it up then found the other miles ahead. A colleague is doing The Moonwalk next year but found her knees are playing up after training walks before it was cancelled this year.. A knitted twiddle muff from my MiL for one of the wards. I also went to the Post office with more sales of CDs and took a pile of loo roll inners for seed planting to the allotment when I watered it. I am counting that as a bag.
I had a moment of inspiration earlier today when I was thinking about my burgeoning fabric stash. I am visiting family in a few weeks so I am taking a variety of fabrics to one of my nieces who is into sewing. I have art supplies for my SiL and a phone/tablet holder for another niece. I still have a box of tools for my DSis. As you can see. Lots of stuff to go but going to the right places.
boazu - I love that word Stumpastaken and love even more what it does.
