1. WRITE AND USE “TO DO LISTS” - MINIMUM 30 MINUTE BURSTS OF ACTIVITY AT LEAST TWICE EVERY DAY2. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT3. I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO BE NICE TO EVERYONE & TRY TO SEE THE FUNNY OR PECULIAR SIDE TO AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUE
Monday stayed dry & a bit chilly - still windy but not gale force. DH took me to D*nelm to buy summer bedding (as I donated our set to a cs before lockdown) & we also bought 2 sets of lined curtains + poles (for the lounge & our bedroom). The shop was well organised but apart from 2 people & us everyone was mask less 🙁
My cc took a beating (£420 - nothing on sale 🙁) but not a problem as I have spent very little over the last 4 months 😉Dinner was mostly from the freezer - previously batch cooked cottage pie mix - I added fresh cheesy mash. Also previously batch cooked Bolognese sauce with parsnip & sweet potato mash from freezer. Added a portion of cooked mushrooms to each ‘pie’. Frozen peas for DSis with her portion of standard cottage pie. DH & I had the Bolognese pie with hg chard stir fried with a bit of bacon & seasoned with salt & pepper - delicious 😋 & DSis had a taste & loved it 🙁 so I won’t be giving away any more chard to our ndn 😉
1206 - 1208 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, cardboard packaging - Recycled
1209 - 1211 Kitchen detritus, large plastic bag, pair of DH’s Sunday socks - Binned
And so you should be villagelife 🙂 steady progress 👏
Well done roundtuit 👏 I know you will be brave 😉 but don’t forget to phone the cs to make sure they are taking donations.

Morning MrsSD and fellow declutterers, treated myself to some retail therapy at the weekend and purchased new pair of work trousers, couple of short sleeved shirts and two pairs of jeans. Threw away one pair of threadbare jeans, three shirts and one pair of threadbare trousers. Will look to get to the recycling centre in next couple of weeks to start getting shut of the lockdown clutter which has been building up over time.11

We're off to a charity shop this morning. I've told hubby 2 bags only - it'll be one of miscellaneous unused stationery and one of clothes. We got rid of 28 cardboard boxes this week. Our gardener had been asking us to keep them for him as he was going to be sorting a garden that had been untouched for about 10 years. They put them down over the nettles and put mulch on top of them. They last about 3 years and weeds breakthrough a bit of a time - and the old nettles are just dead and breakdown.
So that's 2 more bags - bringing us to 41 and +30 items 1304 - I'll adjust my signature later.Clutter free wannabee 2021 /52 bags to cs. /2021 'stuff' out of the placeYOU CANNOT BE ALL THE GOOD THAT THE WORLD NEEDS, BUT THE WORLD NEEDS ALL THE GOOD YOU CAN BEtaken from Shelbizleee on YouTube - her copyright8 -
Two caravan magazines and a PC game gone. More shrubbery and weeds binned and the green waste bins out for collection, along with the recycling. Also the bird house/feeder broken up and binned because it sort of fell apart when I moved it to sweep the patio.... oops! Well the feet were rotten, so now I need a new oneStay safe and well allnanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently9

On a roll. Sorted out DDs old school files so i could pinch a file and sort out my own paperwork.
*246-247 A4 files x 2 cleared out and all of the paperwork (DDs old A level stuff) popped into recycling.
*248 one household file sorted, paperwork destroyed.
*249 used one of DDs freed up files to pop newly sorted household paperwork into. Old file that was broken and collapsing- recycling.
Pleased that we used one of DDs freed up files while having a good sort out. Nothing wasted but no clutter
*250 another bag of plastic wrappings- recycling pointDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

TC77. There are always bags outside of ours, often ripped open by people having a look. I even found someone having a nap across them one day. A local man who is not homeless but tells people he is; will also sell stuff from them if they are not removed. While the shop was shut the bags had to be removed as fly tipping by the local council. To removed them otherwise is stealing apparently.
Thanks Mrs SD
Good plan Roundtuit
Yesterday I had a good vacuum round under beds and behind furniture. Today sorted bags of bags into type for reuse. There are so so many. They will go as I donate stuff, send stuff as I sell it and I am taking 5 bags for life to work just because someone always wants one. We have been very good of late at putting bags back in the car after shopping so we don't keep buying more.

556-558: 3 photo albums binned, actual photos took up half a box file. (So that's another heap of family photos)
559: Handful of photos thrown out (will have to do duplicates and "best" at some point.)
560: one more bag of Mum's stuff emptied and contents herded.
By the way: get the family photos labelled while you can...
