2020 - banish the clutter

Decluttered some subscriptions that are surplus to need now, so decluttered some space in the budget too! Also decluttered lots of baking ingredients as we ran out of biscuits... and we drink a lot of tea so we’re missing them! One batch came out a bit ropey, way too soft and not nice so I took inspiration from biscotti and rebaked them today and they now have a nice crunch so are saved from the bin!
finally did one of my baking goals and baked teacakes. Far less sweet than the bought ones so a bit different but am pleased with my efforts. Just off to declutter two to mum (it makes 6 and best eaten in 24 hours, so a good excuse to share). Next goal is Chelsea buns!
Other than that, the kitchen storage tubs are working well and I am enjoying having that bit of extra worktop space.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?12 -
Just decluttered 3 Barbie outfits and a dressing table and chair that DH made, to DGD. She's now put her order for more clothes, a shelving unit and a dining table and chairs
DD went to the local garden centre so I have now recluttered a large bag of compost ready for seed sowing. Might be a bit too late this year for my needs, but it can squat in my gardening shed til needed.
Happy decluttering all. nan.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently11 -

Stayed at my dad's and brought stuff back including his keys which I had lost but found after getting home after driving 130 miles!Bought back bowls I want to keep so will have to declutter other things and a few things to go to CSbit_by_bit I've seen lots of donations outside the CS that aren't open yet which is such a shame. The open ones here are doing shorter hours. I'm taking one bag at a time.1337 - 1339 shoes and trousers in CSCleared hall - things tidied away and things in other rooms (abit of musical chairs) but few small bits binned 13409

Sunday was a beautifully sunny day, warm sometimes hot BUT only when the wind wasn’t blowing at gale force 😱
DH & I spent a couple of hours in the garden - pruning, tidying & staking the tomato plants - not an easy job in the wind 🙁 I harvested some chard & gave half to my ndn. DH also cut down the clematis & watched a Monty Don clip on how to take cuttings. Hopefully it will work as I do like my clematis. Still no rain, so out watering in the dark 🙂 Tomorrow we will harvest the rhubarb which is a decent size now 🥳 DH cooked a scrumptious cheesy pasta 😋 for dinner.

Great work roundtuit 👏 Be brave - but if you don’t fancy a weekly trip to the cs, how about a fortnightly trip 😉 Yippee you have passed 500 - One Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way to you 🥳
Brilliant work Happy_Kitties 👏 & a lovely clean fridge 😉
Thanks for the info re charity shop operations bit_by_bit 👏 I think I have found one that is open but will phone & check. In order to drop off I need to use public transport so don’t want a wasted journey.
That is what I call lovely decluttering boazu 👏 brings a smile to my face & your description of the first stand up & flump is priceless 😉
Fingers crossed 🤞 Nicnak, that lots of pennies will be with you shortly 😉
Great work newlywed 👏 Saving money on subscriptions & presumably using that for more baking supplies 😉
What a lovely couple you & mrnannywindow are, nannywindow 😇 Your DGD must have been so happy - Barbie has clothes & furniture 😆 If you have the space I would get a 2nd bag of compost - not to be too pessimistic but if there are further lockdowns then you might be grateful for it.
Every little bit helps Gem-gem 👏
Good work TC77 👏 at least you found the keys 😉
Good work EnergyShifter 👏 Only a month, that is not proper procrastination 😉

Morning xx
Thank you for my gold star Mrs SD xx That starts my week off nicely
I'm going to gather up the items that I've put to one side for the cs 'rag' bag and start sorting the saleable items to go too. I'm thinking that the bags can go in to my car boot and be dropped off one at a time when I'm feeling brave / going to town for petrol.
That sounds like a plan to meI think I'm going to photo some other 'stuff' and see if I can get rid pass on via fb. Get me (a) thinking and (b) getting the hang of my new phone.
Have a good week. Stay safe.

Things like old make up brushes, pens, a manky pencil case, paperwork, bits of plastic, a jam jar that had been turned into a pen storage thingy etc all got sorted.
*243-244 present bags with presents x2 dropped off to friend
