Congratulations villagelife! I'm pleased to say that our freezer is now empty, with the fridge only having enough to last us till Monday. We have officially exchanged, so it is now all go for packing everything. Decided to throw a load of black socks that I never wear, and Mr Puppy has sorted through his drawers and has thrown a lot of 'just in case' packaging etc.11

June total update
179 items gone (+47 on yearly target) 😁
Another month passed (not sure where the time is going to be honest 😀). I've finally caught up on everyone's posts...you are all doing so well!
Thank you for my medal last month Mrs SD I felt like one of my pupils when I give them a sticker for good work 😁
Most items this month have been DVDs and books to an online site (a bit of money for the pot which is nice) even better though is using up some of the collected packaging to send them off. It's meant that we are starting to see the floor in the dining room. Getting there slowly but surely...we may be able to get our house sorted by the time the baby is heading off to uni 🤣
Stay safe everyone...there is a bit of light at the end of the tunnel at last 🌈11 -
Hi all,
I can't even remember the last time i posted. It would have been before lockdown as unfortunately i did not get a break and worked through. However as the term is winding to an end I have been able to get into a better head space to start tackling things. I have been working on a garden renovation so that has been a priority, but now i am back to decluttering the house again.
Today was the beginning of the new declutter phase - went to the tip to get rid of an old rusty bike and a large cardboard box. I now need to go through under bed storage and be ruthless again. I hope everyone is well.
I will do my best to follow the thread more closely now.Declutter 2020 - 267/2020 :j

Friday was a damp, grey day. All 3 of us were lazy little beggars 😞
However I have found somewhere to send the 33 sets of bonding squares - just need to get Velcro type freezer bags & write the date packed. Apparently they will be left in the bags for 72 hours before being unwrapped. I have also started a new knitting project - pairs of stuffed hearts. Fortunately I have a bag of stuffing in my craft supplies 🥳 & I have plenty of wool 🥳
Dinner was the 2nd half of last night’s Chinese 🤤

While not as satisfying as discarding actual items, I'm pleased to be getting some admin tasks done. These are my nemesis. (or at least one of them)
elsien - glad my post reminded you to do your expenses claim too
shortbird - I am beyond impressed that you've done your tax return already - you are an inspiration

I have uncluttered a large coal scuttle from someone who had put it out for the dustbin and it will in turn de clutter boxes and baskets holding kindling and fire lighters from beside our fireplace. So although I've got a new thing it will mean I can get rid of a few old things and keep everything much tidier.9
