DD cleared out the last of her uni flat and we've been sorting things out, finding homes for things.
*156 bag of plastics- taken to recycling point
*157-192 another 35 items (alot of odd socks) of DDs into rag bag
*193 to me it looks like a toilet brush but DD said it was a washing up brush-into recycling, taking no chances!
*194 a metal draining board thingy that actually takes very little, outside ready for recycling or free to anyone that wants it
*195 box of cheesy bisuits and crackers. Only slightly ood but when we went to eat them they were stale
*196 huge box of cardboard sorted ready to go out for recycling
*197 more packaging material used for neutral items
Another 6 neutral items sent to organiser now makes 85 items sentDecluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

510-517: 6 small drawers and a Re@lly Useful Box sorted so like is with like; also, all estate paper work in one place. 518-521: working on the putting away of laundry as I haven't been awfully good at that. I've put a couple of work uniform pieces in a drawer as goodness only knows when my theatre jobs will start up again. 😟‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

Great work TC77 👏 especially the clearing of e-mails 👏👏
Good work on the book clearing Nicnak 👏 I hope that is a few pennies into your account 🙂
Oh wow boazu 🤩 🤩 what a wonderful day 🥳 Mental decluttering& a good night’s sleep are such great outcomes for a day with your family🙂
Quite agree Primrose - it was a lovely positive post from boazu 👏 I have noticed that since the easing of lockdown there is more traffic, more noise & people are less friendly. Also fewer people appear to be wearing masks. I am only just over 60 with no underlying health problems apart from being fat 😉 but I am not looking forward to resuming normal activities, especially as all the talk now seems to be that there will be further spikes. The whole situation rather plays into my lazy character 😉
Sounds very well organised bit_by_bit 🙂 & it sounds like it made for a very pleasant day. Not sure about 22 bags from one person though 😱 hope it was all usable/saleable
Everything is crossed 🤞 for you stellata 🤞- sounds like an excellent plan to sell items to fund your groceries & I wish you every success 🙂 Hope you manage to get enough/plenty of work to avoid dipping into the bank balance 🤞
Excellent work Happy_Kitties 👏 very impressed with your neutral items count 👏
Good work EnergyShifter 👏
Working swiftly towards your next gold star villagelife 👏

961-964 some old rights also with holes in.
I now have slightly more space in that one drawer.
Hopefully will be back later with more. The house does seem to be more cluttered recently.8 -

We picked loads from the garden yesterday (and nearly melted in the process, it was so hot!) so lots of raspberries into the freezer, the first proper picking of loganberries into the freezer, broad beans into the fridge for lunch today, the last few peas podded and will go into a risotto tomorrow and a picking of rhubarb some of which made a nice big crumble and the last few bits with some scraggy raspberries that were squishy and half a punnet of English strawberries made me two jars of 'almost jam' which is a Swedish breakfast thing using 100g of sugar to 600g of fruit. It tastes lovely and fresh and not as sweet as jam. So kitchen nicely decluttered of produce and freezer with some home growns in too!
I had a tiny bit of rhubarb left and more milk than I need so I cooked the rhubarb with a couple of apples, made a big pan of custard and have made fruit fool which will be decluttered at lunchtime!9
