I've gathered another load of items to add to the boot sale box. I'm not counting anymore, but after selling the big display cabinet, it means I need to re-home or get rid of anything from it.
I have a garage now full of things for the tip, car boot, or the charity shop. I'm not counting them individually, but it's nice to see it slowly making its way out of the house. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

460-462: another box of stuff unpacked and laundered or washed - pieces of china and glass wrapped in household linens.
463: emails deleted
464: due to heavy rain, sizeable leak in communal hallway reported to landlord. Water running through light fitting has been stopped but the roof needs remedial action which probably isn't going to happen just yet.
465-466: read 2 books of a trilogy. Going in for the third...

Spent another couple of hours cleaning up the patio and paths - decluttering the dirt. Should have it finished after the next session.Envelopes and unwanted mail recycled. Two empty wine bottles recycled. (Only one bottle of one wine left. 1/2 bottle of Pimms left. Said to hubby that once the last bottle goes - not going to buy any for a month or two - give liver a rest).Turned final lot of 2019 blackcurrants into Jam.
Boot fairs will be starting up next month, can't wait to get all the decluttering out of the loft/ house. I will then be cleaning the loft and reorganising it.2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

1. WRITE AND USE “TO DO LISTS” - MINIMUM 30 MINUTE BURSTS OF ACTIVITY AT LEAST TWICE EVERY DAY2. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT3. I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO BE NICE TO EVERYONE & TRY TO SEE THE FUNNY OR PECULIAR SIDE TO AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUE
Saturday ended up being dry & quite bright. DH hacked down next door’s weeds (7 foot high wild geranium) - with permission of course & trimmed out more dead wood from their willow tree. Everything shredded & added to compost bin. My hg lettuce is starting to go over, so cut a big bag for ndn the other side. All my potatoes had eyes, so the best eyes have been cut off & put in water & we will try to borrow a few pots & plant up the best ones. Half the potatoes were parboiled for the freezer for future roasties. The other half were cooked & mashed with grated cheese for the topping of a bolognese sauce cottage pie. Lo cheesy potato was put in a baking dish, topped with shredded mozzarella & cherry tomatoes & baked. Precooked apples & rhubarb have been defrosted & pre made crumble topping has been added for a pudding tomorrow.

Morning xx
A strange day yesterday - all upside down and back to front: probably needed as I try to unravel the knots I tied myself in last week. It's alright saying to myself 'the only way is up' - it's not that easy when you haven't a clue where 'up' is.
Anyways I listened to what you said Mrs SDand adapted it for yesterday; While tea was cooking (and timer was counting down) I washed a bowl of pots and then:
292 - 295 pizza boxes binned
296 - 300 cardboard recycled
301 - 302 plastic bottles rinsed and recycled
303 - 307 glass bottles rinsed and recycled
308 - 313 cans rinsed and recycled
I think I now know where 'up' is - I hope I'm right as that's where I'm heading. If I disappear please look for me in the Mariana Trench!!!!
Have a good day lovely ladies

I like to start the day with a clear draining rack on the draining board and that's my first 'job' of the day most days, clear the dishes and cutlery, get it all away in the cupboards and wipe down all the surfaces round the sink and that tiny corner of 'order' sets me on the right path for the rest of the house. I like to make the bed as I get up too, again that sets the tone for me to make it all orderly and tidy.
One tip I learned from DD and have used in the airing cupboard and the blanket store is that you can fit many more items in both if you roll them rather than fold and stack. I don't know how it works, it's the same number of things in the same space but it does.9 -

I'm another that makes my bed as soon as I get up. x

It's been a funny old week - felt very out of sorts - had a couple of days off work and slept most of the time. I'm going to book a week off work for another "staycation" in a few weeks. (Wish it was next week)

314 - 341 cans rinsed and recycled
342 jar jar washed and recycled
Mrs SD - I rinsed and recycled 6 cans whilst my porridge was cooking in the microwave; then 12 more whilst the washing up bowl was filling and pots soaking; that left 10 so I did them after washing the pots and whilst the jam jar was soaking. And now they are all gone and I have a worktop again. Thank you
