NicNak You shouldn't have thrown that Marmite!! It could be worth a fortune on the auction market, Didn,t t you read recently thwt the manufacturers of Marmite have had to cease manufacturing Most of this product because a key ingredient is yeast, which is a by product Of the brewing industry. With pubs and bars all closed The brewing industry has virtually come to a halt soMarmite fans will be scouring the supermarket shelves for whatever is left.
i remember years ago Bovril converted from a beef based product to a yeast one and Bovril fans rushed to supermarkets to buy remaining stocks. Bovril caught a cold because the yeast version wasn,t popular and they eventually had to admit defeat and reintroduce the beef based version.7 -
Hi,
I do remember but didn't think an out of date one would be any good!
I tasted it and it seemed ok but neither me or DD eat it so got rid.
The soup has milk powder and DD doesn't like them so that rules us Both out of eating them.
Trying to put measures in place, but if I'm honest, social distancing in a school doesn't exist. We try and try and set it out appropriately, but it's impossible to uphold. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

I don't think many people deliberately ignore social distancing. Some do of course, but it's very hard to change the habits of a lifetime isn't it? Especially when it comes to spontaneous human gestures like hugging loved ones and good friends on meeting, etc.9

Exactly. It's not often deliberate, they just migrate towards each other and us and I'm also guilty of forgetting and going over to help them before realising. It's so hard. XSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330

Another welcome to Ilovemycats. I am amazed that you are still standing. I am looking forward to seeing how you progress with so much to work through. Definitely a marathon not a sprint.
I was sorting though a box last night and found some very old pictures, some of which I haven't seen for years and years. I will add them to the pile of boxes of photos, albums and frames which in winter we will sort through as a family. We have too many and too much of all of the above so there will be some sharing of pictures, some scanning and the rest will go.
I found another box of notebooks too. Mostly half used. Added to the notebook stash: two crates and a box full now.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor.
