I've sorted through some boxes and had a nosy on ebay what is selling. Currently job lots for boot sales seem to be doing ok, so I am going to compile the things I have and put them into a job lot. Will let you know when it is done and how it does. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.

I think u have done brilliantlly i love my cats in very difficult circumstances.
As ive been pottering ive been doing some decluttering and DD has got stuck into sorting out things aswell (but has trashed the spare room in the process!)
Pleased one of the SMs is still taking plastic wrappings for recycling as ive been keeping them ready.
*128-130 make up x 3of DDs into recycling
*131 bag of plastic recycling to recycling point
*132-134 boxes of tea bags x3 binned. People would bring me back tea bags from their holidays but they've sat there doing nothing except for falling into recycling. Has made that corner of the kitchen look tidier aswell.
*135 stale choc owl left over from Easter-recycling
*136-137 fathers day presents x 2 sent
*138 recycled packaging for the above and some other things ive sent to friends (pleased to see packaging go down in cupboard)
*139-148 at least 10 clothing items of DDs ready for a charity bag to come thru the letter box. Being in Wales coming out of lockdown is much slower. Clothes banks are still blocked off
*149 a big pack of pet food trays that i had forgotten were in my car boot-pet sanctuary collection
*150 medical plastic bits-recycling
*151 headphone wire thingy of DDs-binned
Being home more im actually using my candles more. Christmas smells but still lovely.Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

1. WRITE AND USE “TO DO LISTS” - MINIMUM 30 MINUTE BURSTS OF ACTIVITY AT LEAST TWICE EVERY DAY2. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT3. I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO BE NICE TO EVERYONE & TRY TO SEE THE FUNNY OR PECULIAR SIDE TO AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUEThursday started as an overcast, damp, rainy day which eventually morphed into a pleasantly warm sunny late afternoon & evening. DH did the usual Thursday shop which was mostly dairy, bread, meat, freezer vegetables & washing products. Unfortunately he did get wet 🙁 We had hm soup for lunch. My day was more AB2 & clearing down the planner - although I did phone my plumber to arrange the annual boiler service 😉. He is turning up on the 29th ............ of this month 🥳 I always get my boiler serviced in the summer months to avoid any panic later in the year. He sounded rather bemused as he has not had much work even though he has had lots of calls. People need work done but haven’t been prepared to let him into their homes 🙄 Tbh that did raise a smile as I was unaware that plumbers could work from home 😉DH decided to light the chiminea & cooked burgers & hot dogs - less messy than an actual barbecue. 🤤 It was like ordering a takeaway - used hg lettuce & added gherkins etc. I sliced & sautéed the leftover new potatoes. All in all a successful learning experience - so when the weather picks up I can see a lot of chiminea cooked meat in our futures 😉
Friday has dawned grey & dreary & looks set for the day 😔 The last of the hm soup is just heating up & DH is on cooking duties .... again - cheesy pasta tonight.1098 - 1100 Uu soap refill bottle, kitchen recycling, drinks cans - Recycled

Nicnak, I think our gubberment are beginning to lose the plot - sorry strike that HAVE lost the plot. Now they have destroyed the economy & our trust which had been hanging on by a thread & are looking to compound the errors by crashing out of EU & doing a deal with the devil 👿 to poison us all 😡 Sorry, rant over 😞 Sounds very interesting Nicnak - decluttering & earning 👏 Fingers crossed 🤞
Good work oceanspirit 👏
Organising is frequently as good as decluttering boazu 👏Well done short_bird 👏I agree bit_by_bit 👏 Ilovemycats is an inspiration to us all & will hopefully continue to succeed on the great decluttering journey with us cheering from the sidelines 🙂
It is official, you are a notebook addict bit_by_bit 😉Excellent work TC77 👏 - any chance of a mini bonfire for the personal paperwork?Great work Happy_Kitties 👏 Beautiful smelling candles - I closed my eyes & was transported - thank you 😊Greent, do you think I should award Nicnak a Gold Star for that idea?BE KIND. 4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUEFriday brightened up considerably so no rain. I snapped the knob off the lid of the savoury biscuits tin so DH had a project 😉 Rather than glue it’s back on DH decided to use washer nut & bolt having drilled a hole 🙂 Rather over engineered but he enjoyed himself 😆 I cleared down the six part series of I Know This Much Is True with Mark Ruffalo playing twins. Absolutely brilliant & very thought provoking. A masterclass in acting 👏 DH’s cheesy pasta was delicious 🤤

Mrs SD, if only a bonfire would get rid of personal papers. I've scanned some to attach to documents (and have a scanned version and a named version and then saved as part of another document- sometimes on a memory stick and then copied on to PC - and then sometimes needed same document - forgot scanned and another 3 or 4 versions appeared). Managed to lose my phone as it was on vibrate and surfaces covered with things - found after 45 minutes - has falled in cutlery drawer while I was putting away cutlery and I closed the drawer! An incentive to sort more out. Have some empty spaces on shelves but things are just lying around and need more to go before I organise properly.1188 - large plastic clip not working1189 - 1199 electronic declutter about 1000 files deleted (much more just copied to external drive)1200 - 1201 egg carton dividers for pens recycled and nicer boxes from my corralled pile of empty storage boxes used.1202 - 1203 2 keys binned - managed to match one padlock with a key (although think I need 2 keys in case I lose one) Have 15 other keys - think a couple may belong to the bike locks I decided to get rid off after 2 years as couldn't find the keys!1204 hadn't received refund for item returned but chased and now receiving it so recycling proof of posting and other receipts! The sun is out so motivated to clear so my life isn't spent tidying up!10

Morning xx
I've fallen off every wagon there is this week - including the decluttering wagonClimbing back on with a quick tally of what has actually left the building this week:
282 - 283 milk cartons rinsed and recycled
284 - 285 bags of rubbish binned
286 - 291 cardboard recycled
I also collected the safety pins and buttons lurking in my bedroom and put them in my jar.
Definitely gone backwards this week. Hey ho, Rome wasn't built in a day. I need to learn how to continue to declutter when stressed. Any tips lovely ladies?

Deliberately fell asleep on the sofa in order to be ‘up’ in time to pay the milkman. Needed to raid my DH’s wallet for a £5 note 😉 but did have enough cash for the bulk of the bill 🙂 However I do need to visit an atm to get cash. It was gloriously sunny from 7:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. then clouded over with dark clouds but no rain & now we have white clouds & some sunshine. Just having a coffee & getting ready to do at least something/anything with DH now that he is up 😆😉 DSis still in bed.Just noticed that the bee bomb scattered on the soil on top of the hm hose box has a single red/orange poppy in full bloom 🥳
Now you know why I don’t own a mobile phone TC77 🤣 I cannot be doing with Hunt the phone 😉 Good work on the decluttering 👏 How about 30 minutes tidying, then a drink sitting in the sun reading, knitting or maybe writing a list/plan OR radical suggestion just take in the rays 🙂
No such thing as going backwards roundtuit 😉 I would also count gathering up & organising your safety pins & buttons in your decluttering total 🙂 How about the timer system TC77 combined with the touch once & deal system? So when you are feeling stressed pick a surface, put 5 minutes on a timer & have at it 😉 When the timer goes off you can stop or if you are on a roll put another 5 minutes on. It is surprising how effective this is & can be done during advert breaks, whilst waiting for the kettle to boil or even whilst walking from room to room. Good luck & I think I might just take my own advice 😉BE KIND. STAY SAFE. BREAK THE CHAIN. SAVE LIVES.MrsSD ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️1108/2020Be Kind. Stay Safe. Break the Chain. Hello all.Sorry been MIA again although not much decluttering has been going on except day to day stuff. Oh! and I found the errant sock to the one I threw out. It appears that the missing one was only good for wearing on Sunday too, but at least DH had no choice to but to get rid. There is more shed detritus bagged and waiting to be binned now that the rain has finally stopped ( It was that bad at one point that nearly ordered an Ark
)
Today I have decluttered some Happy Birthday wrapping paper, well it was either that or a ballerina oneI used it to wrap Dad's Father's day hamper. ( I'm not going anywhere near a shop and the non essential ones are not opening til Monday anyway ) I knew he wouldn't mind and I took his pressie and a picnic to have in his garden, so a lot of food has been decluttered. Pity I can't declutter some weight as well !
I have recluttered a hydrangea plant which I cut down last year to replace a fence panel and it's now 3ft high and flowering. Yay !!Sorry for wafflingnan xxFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently12 -
Went through the Rest of my recipe cuttings. Filed away some that hadn’t made it into the pockets of the book and got rid of a load that are way too much faff.Have a totally packed fridge and freezer and really need to try and sort through it... but can’t be bothered.Have ordered some plastic storage boxes for the kitchen to store food stuff (OH got rid of the wall cupboards 4 years ago and we have yet to replace them... ) the boxes will stack where the dishwasher once was and at least give me some More worktop space - hopefully!
shopping is delivered every fortnight so seem to have an overflow of stuff and end up with very little worktop.
so hopefully that will declutter some stress.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?8
