May update
Hello.. me again! 😀 It's been a busy month of decluttering and living life. Thank you to everyone for keeping me going on the decluttering front. I look forward to reading about everyone's progress each day (sometimes with a hot coffee if I'm lucky 🤣).
May total = 166
Total = +36
Mainly DVDs and baby items (donated to local online group). We have lots more still to go but I've sold a few things online which are due to go out tomorrow so we are getting there slowly but surely 😁
Wishing you all a good decluttering month. Stay safe and well x10 -
Another lunch box from DD. This time I found it hidden in her wardrobes. Now, I am sure that I have already 'disposed' of this lunchbox already, but as they seem to breed in my house, I can't be 100% if it was that one, or another. This then poses a problem as my stealthily getting rid of DD's things is not as stealthy as I thought, but instead she is stealthier than me at getting things back into the house without me knowing.
Dress from DD covered in paint
Top from me that is massively too big
Sure I have forgotten something, but not sure. x

4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUE
Tuesday has been sunshine absolutely all day & hot, hot, hot 🥵 Late getting up today 10:45 🙁 but did the watering & moving of pots from the shed whilst waiting for the kettle to boil. Settled down with my cuppa & played AB2 (Angry Birds 2 😉) & finished skim reading Evening Standard. DH got up a bit later, had a coffee & then we gardened for 2.5 hours. Set stakes up for the tomato plants - BEFORE they are needed 😉 Have carefully moved all our seedlings to their final resting places & also planted more seeds in seed trays for the windowsill + direct into the ground. A bare patch of lawn has been reseeded & protected with an hm cage. Two more large pots have been filled with compost & potato plants transplanted. Everything has been well watered in & joy of joys our carrots will definitely be larger than the 3 carrots we got last year - they were suitable to be put on the table in a dolls house 🤣 A lovely surprise purchase by DH - a small solar powered fountain which is in the birds water bowl 😉 Tomorrow, weather permitting, we will empty & sort out the contents of the shed. I did make the apple pie (using readymade pastry 🙁) & also made 6 jam tarts with the lo pastry. Dinner was fried eggs, oven chips & baked beans. An hour & a half later apple pie & custard 🤤
1007 - 1011 Kitchen recycling, cardboard packaging, paper packaging, newspaper (as water retention in the garden), cardboard box - Recycled
1012 - 1019 Six empty compost/bird food bags, kitchen detritus, bag of garden detritus - Binned
Yippee 🥳 over halfway to my total so I am awarding myself a Gold Star ⭐️ 😉 😉

Thank you. I have now found some boxes and other 'disposed' of items in her wardrobe and other places in her room. I will just have to up my game. You wouldn't think she was 7.
Sorry you're aching. Rest and relax is all there is for it! x

Popping in to report a bag out. Half of it books and half other bits like plants, newspaper and #bay stuff rehomed. At last some rain today so taking a day off from the garden and alotment and decluttering teh RoD some more.
DH hindly made a gate from my allotment from an old pallet yesterday, so more recycling (and decluttering) of old wood. which I will count as one large item if that is OK.
Total for 2020 18/52 bags and 6 Lare items.
i heard from the Charity shop. They are opening at the end of the month so I will be back there. I expect and extra shift here and there as there will be loads of stock arriving.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. Posted a parcel to our granddaughter whose birthday is on the 8th. DH removed all the plastic tape from cardboard boxes and put them in the recycling - sellotape and such isn't recyclable and it depends on the depot whether they just throw them in landfill instead. Went to Pett Levels again - oddly the other end was busier this week. We had to go the long way round as a bin lorry had turned on its side yesterday on the A21. 1 young man seriously hurt and 3 others treated at the scene, thankfully no fatalities, but I hope the seriously injured one is on the mend. Another day of decluttering petrol - over 100 miles again - we're only 28 miles from Pett.
Also recycled:
4 glass jars which had chickpeas in them.
2 wine bottles
1 beer bottle
4 clear plastic trays from clearspring nori crispies
Received a cheque from Motability this morning as they have had a lower level of insurance claims. Nice surprise.
Stay safe everyone

EnergyShifter said:397. Arranged collection of bulky waste
398. Reduced my hours at a company that I get very frustrated working for - I'm freelance with them so it feels weird saying no to income but there's only so long I can listen to myself complaining - needed to do something...
400. shower screen finally put back after "tiling" the bathroom
401. Covered mdf panel in sticky backed plastic to make a replacement side panel for the bath.
I'm convinced there's something I've forgotten to add - will add if it comes to me...
