I just thought I would put all my bags for life in one storage box. I have 20 of them! That is my husband as he has been doing most of the shopping with the pandemic and he must keep buying more rather than remembering to take the ones we already have. I am going to put some in the donation bag for the charity shop.
I used up some air freshener and another jar of cream as well.
I decluttered lots of fur from my cats and dogs too.2025 GOALS

I'm surprising myself by starting to sort out photographs. Have over 20 years of the kids, some before digital and its daunting - starting by backing up digital pics from CDs before I get rid of old PC as new one doesn't have CD drive. Realise I have several digital copies of some and apart from the folder most photos are only labelled with year not who or where. Will take months but I've started, and also got out albums of pre digital and again not all labelled. Trying to get acid free pens on the back. going to count each 15 min as 1 declutter.857 - 864 photo decluttering last few days865 - mobile protector screen binned866 - 873 - DD clothes in CS bag. DD said I shouldn't count her things but as long as out of my house I'm counting!874 electronic declutter11

1. WRITE AND USE “TO DO LISTS” - MINIMUM 30 MINUTE BURSTS OF ACTIVITY AT LEAST TWICE EVERY DAY2. KITCHEN WILL BE LEFT CLEAN & TIDY EVERY NIGHT3. I WILL ENDEAVOUR TO BE NICE TO EVERYONE & TRY TO SEE THE FUNNY OR PECULIAR SIDE TO AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE
4. DAY TO DAY DECLUTTERING WILL CONTINUEHangs head in shame again 😞 for not posting 😞 Tuesday was torrential rain on & off all day. DH treated us to fish’n’chips - unfortunately too cold to eat when delivered so had to be put in warming drawer for 20 minutes. I finished scarf no.40 & then started on a baby blanket in feather & fan stitch.Wednesday was dreary, overcast and damp. DH did our weekly shop - everything except flour. He did manage to avoid the rain 🙂 DSis did a wash load but had to use td as no chance of line drying 🙁 Darned a pair of DH’s socks & sewed up a hem on a pair of DH’s trousers. Finished first baby blanket & started on 2nd one. Lunch - egg sandwiches for DH & I. Dinner was pork steaks, green beans, mashed potato for DSis but mashed sweet potato, carrot & parsnip for DH & I - 🤤
Thursday has been another rain sodden day 🙁 - about 2:30 p.m. it was so dark I had to turn the lights on. TV, knitting, AB2. Lunch was hm soup over the top of some of the hm bread (which is now rock hard) 😱 - bacon sarnie for DSis. Dinner was baked beans on toast with heated hot dogs & a fried egg on top.
809 - 813 Two newspapers, cardboard packaging, kitchen recycling, plastic tray - Recycled
814 - 818 Two lots of Plastic packaging, 2 bags of kitchen detritus, coffee tin of kitchen detritus - Binned
Stellata, Sorry to hear that lockdown is having a detrimental effect on your sleep & diet 🙁 If you are like me you probably don’t know what day of the week it is 😱 & cannot summon up the GUAG to do anything apart from vegetate 😩😉 The problem is that there is no end in sight - I think most of us realise that things will not get back to normal anytime soon, but it would be nice to know that if/when lockdown ends we can actually visit our nearest & dearest.Nice idea wort 👏
Good work villagelife 👏 Yippee to over 700 🥳
supersaver1000, The trouble with knitting is that good wool is so expensive & because so many of us are knitting there doesn’t appear to be any online sales 🙁 Shame about the grate especially as the weather has turned so cold again. I hope the few days of sunshine wasn’t our summer 😱Nice to hear you are taking care of your gold stars HappyKitties 👏 The rate you are going I will soon be sending you another one 😉
Wednesday2000, you are doing well 👏 steady progress 👏 Although you didn’t set a number, I feel that you have earned a Gold Star ⭐️ for 4 months of decluttering 👏 I am very impressed that you have got rid of 3 pairs of slippers & only bought one new pair 👏I think it is a man thing about getting new bags for life - although having said that my DH is usually very good & 19 times out of 20 he takes bags with him 👏 😇Excellent work TC77 👏 I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ for making a start on your photos 👏 Definitely something I need to do but it is a monumental task 🙁 I definitely agree that your DD’s stuff should be counted 😉
Well Done newlywed 👏 You have earned a 😇 for keeping thoroughly decluttered areas clear & tidy 👏
Great work Marpau 👏 A lot of items decluttered 😁 Can I ask about the blankets/hats for NICU? What sort/blend of wool do you use? Which stitch? What is the size? Do you have a pattern & size for the hats? If so, would it be possible to direct me?Brilliant nannywindow 👏 It is surprising what you can find in the back of cutlery drawers 😆 Day to day decluttering is just as important as project decluttering 👏 unfortunately there is no wagging finger emoji anymore 🙁
But you are still decluttering Nicnak 👏 every single item out is a win 🙂
I hope you have another bottle Gem-gem 😉
Yippee Chocolatedrinker 🥳 You have hit your 2020 target 👏 Your 4th Gold Star ⭐️ is on its way 🙂 Next target is 2500 😉

Good morning Mrs SD I use 100% acrylic as some tiny babies are prone to allergies. I knit 18" blankets for the incubators. I use free patterns by Marianne Mel on ravelry. There are lots of patterns on there all easy to follow. The hospital ask for no holes so feather and fan would not be used for NICU though could be used for the maternity unit there is a risk tiny fingers can get trapped in the holes. You could contact you local hospital and ask which sizes they need. The hats are ideal for using up small leftovers. They are used for babies from 2lb upwards so some look like little egg covers.11
