Cleaned out the craft cupboard. 33 items gone.
Paints, glitters, glue, used paper, cut up things, everything I could.
Now my carpet looks like Tinkerbell farted on it.
Will update signature once I have worked out new total. x

Hi EV1 can I join please ,have rejoined the flylady thread too.my motivation dives when my house is a mess .can't redecorate the living room until dog dies but hey that shouldn't stop the rest being tidy .ps the dog is an about to be 14 year old in july german shepherd very loved allowed on the couch so hence no point in aiming for that room to improve. So finally debt free and it feels amazing however continuing here to stay debt free.Next declutter house and body and finally swim under that waterfall x9

The days really are blurring into one another & my inner sloth 🦥 has become an outer sloth 🦥 🦥 I cannot summon up the enthusiasm to do anything 😞 My get up and go has got up and gone 😱
Thursday was another sunny warm day & the wind was less chilly. TV, AB2, knitting. DH & I had hm soup for lunch - it is becoming very spicy. Individual distanced chats with 2 neighbours. Pottered about in the garden. Telephone banking - paid my cc bill & ordered new cheque book. Dinner was burgers, oven chips & baked beans.
Also had a dessert - the last of the apple & blackberry crumble with custard. Just to put the cap on my lazy day - my DSis did the washing up 👏 although I did dry & put away 😬
Friday is another dry, very warm & sunny day & the wind appears to have gone away 🥳 Vegetables have been watered, quick chat to neighbour on his way to Day 5 of his radiotherapy treatment. DH showed me the recording of a fox marking its territory by pe**ng over the squirrel feeder 🤢 DH & I have finished off the hm soup - very spiced 🥵 - that will teach me to add 2 whole hg chillies 😥

Advice please! I have a large metal jam making bowl - around 50cm diameter with handles. I don't make jam but my dad did (and I may). It's been on a kitchen shelf taking up lots of room and I used to hide treats in it but my young people know they are there and we're trying to be healthier. I don't want to part with it if I can find a good use for it. Had thought of coal as have a real fire (I hardly use) and a coal holder belonging to ex that I can get rid of but the jam pan is attractive in its own way probably not next to my v smart fireplace. Conscious that if someone trips over it might not be good so really welcome ideas. it's about 13/14cm tall. Thanks fellow declutters.....8

TC77 - a coal holder for the jam maker sounds good. Or of you put lots of stones at the bottom for drainage, you could make a herb planter.
Mrs SD, what plants are you growing? Do you have a green house (I don't). My tomato plants are now a good 25cm (10 inches) tall. I am thinking that I want to start to harden them off and get them (declutter them out of the house).
I used my jam maker yesterday and within just over one hour had five new jars of raspberry jam (grew raspberries last year) and five new jars of blackcurrant jam (also grown last year) so that it three tubs from the freezer gone. Two jars will be extra Christmas present for my elderly aunt.
I gave three jars of different jam to my two old neighbour - who are both widowed.
Swept up some grass and garden detritus. Trying to keep the patio and path as clean as possible, so that it doesn't end up in the house.
Two Easter Egg boxes have gone into the recycling bin (reduced down to 75p).2025 Fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons

266: !kea rack to hold iron and ironing board jettisoned, hasn't been fitted in 3 flats... fling!
267: drat, a potato gone green
268: half a box of bits of paper gone to recycling
269: plastic recycling gone out.
270: blackout blind gave up the ghost so that needs urgent work.
I went out yesterday and managed to acquire some mould proof sealant so I can redo the shower while I'm off work. Also, got some more duct/duck/gaffa tape as I had run out!‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

I decluttered my makeup case today.Bought a new eyeshadow selection a little while back in my favourite brand (not cheap) so have been through all the cheap stuff I now won’t choose. Four lots of multi eyeshadow, three eyeliners, two mascaras (that I don’t like) and two lipsticks I have never worn, plus a seriously ancient one!
Have gone for seriously simplified makeup. And ditched all the stuff that annoys me. So when this is over, I will treat myself to a new lipstick (need to see it in person)
also... washed scrubbed and cleaned makeup case, washed all brushes and foundation sponge. So half empty and extremely clean and tidy.working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?11 -

Friday night’s dinner was chicken & mushroom risotto - delicious 🤤 Plenty lo for Saturday nights dinner made into risotto cakes.
Saturday morning was overcast & chilly but the afternoon was gloriously sunny & warm. Up in time to pay the milkman. Spent an hour chatting with 7 neighbours - suitably socially distanced - all of us had our cups of coffee & tried to put the world to rights 😆 TV, AB2 & knitting - finished scarf no.40.Dinner was risotto cakes (floured, egged & breadcrumbed) & shallow fried with chicken pieces fried in butter & garden peas. Truly scrumptious 😋

Sorry TC77 - no advice 🙁 Good work on the decluttering 👏
Ooh 😲 Gem-gem, home made jam made from home grown fruit 🙂 Unfortunately no greenhouse 🙁 - so far have planted potatoes, lettuces, leeks, carrots - all sprouting. Also had old seeds which are being soaked in a growth medium - chard, parsnips, tomatoes, chives - no sign of life yet but only started a few days ago! Fingers crossed 🤞 Good work on the decluttering 👏
Good work short_bird 👏
